  1. Personal Defense Options

The Knoxville area's newest gun store. Actually it's more like a gun "room" inside of an entirely unrelated business.

Have been by myself. Nice people. Hope they do well.

  2. I don't know about the rest of you but if I had 2 380's on order I sure would try to find some ammo so when it comes in I could actually shoot it. Especially if the Dealer isn't Gouging you. 380 ammo will take a while to get built back up after all this. I don't blame CJR a bit for buying ammo for a gun he has on order and last I checked guns need ammo to go bang ! LOL

    Tom

Why are people still buying and selling guns that there is no ammo for?

  3. If I recall, the best way for me was to hold it upside down (overhead) to keep the spring in alignment.

That's what works for me. Along with some more monkeying around. Lots of light seems to help.

I don't disassemble that thing 'cept every couple of years or so and that's only when I know alot of crud has built up. You could probably go a life time and not take a Ruger apart and it will run just fine.

  4. You bunch of freakin morons. Here ya go. :dropjaw::stunned:

Ammo is near impossible to get because of everyone is buying every last box that is for sale anywhere. ....

( And take my opening line in this post in the tongue in cheek way it was meant, you bunch of morons :hiding: )

And.....People are buying ammo for guns they don't even own!

Unfortunately it's become an addiction. It's Crack, Man!

  5. If I can clean it from the breech I will, but will still drag the brush back through the business end to get the whole assembly out. In other words that brush goes in both directions, regardless of front or rear entry.

The fact is brass cleaning rods and bronze, or whatever, brushes are softer than steel and the rifling inside. You'd really have to be something special do damage anything but I still take great care when doing so. Then again I'm not a high-power multi-thousands of $ competitor type of guy. If I do compete, it's a CMP match and using what I prefer to shoot: old-ass military rifles that have seen their share of GI's cramming steel cleaning rods down the muzzle.

The whole point is preventing damage to the muzzle where the bullet comes out. If coming in from the muzzle my left index finger and thumb make a great muzzle guide. Free too!

  6. You should also send the same letter to Kroger. They will make sure its addressed. They are the employer of said security company, and they are the ones ultimatley responsible for their actions on Kroger property.

Leave Kroger out of it. Otherwise you might just find the place posted as well as all other Kroger stores.

Do not ever tell a business that you are well within your rights to carry a gun on their premises or send some damn letter to the owner of said business. They are well within their rights to tell you to piss off and then post.

The situation has been made aware to the department of which said security guard claims affiliance. I'm sure some action will be taken.

  7. Well, to think about it. If I was 41 I might not watch cartoons either. Atleast without glasses that is. Bwahahaha, I kid I kid.

    Don't need glasses. My TV's probably a lot bigger than your's! :P

Helps out alot watching Spongebob, Family Guy, King of the Hill, Ren & Stempy, Shrek, Bugs Bunny, whatever.:D
