  1. Mike, I'm sorry we forgot to exchange DL#'s with our transactions.

    Sig P238's!

I bought some Magtech 38 Spl at the Outpost that was bad. I'm glad they didn't have it in bulk. I'd hate to know I was stuck with 1000 rds of it. At least the Wolf I bought there shoots every time.
  3. Welcome to TGO. Hope you enjoy it here. See you Sunday.
  4. It would definately work better for me. I get 30 minutes and that's barely enough time to get to Subway and back. I like the dinner idea better.
  5. Silver 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Quad Cab 4x4 CTD Blue 1976 CJ5, 258 I6, 3 Speed
  6. I prefer a J frame revolver with a Aholster kydex pocket holster. My personal revolver has a hammer and I practice my draw so that the thumb is on the hammer so not to snag on my clothing. It works for me. YMMV. Good luck with your choice.
  7. My wife and I got the pleasure of meeting her and she was very cool. I know she is missed by all.
  8. Just don't carry a Glock there because you know the Glock will have an AD that will cause you to lose all cool points with the ladies.
  9. I need it to be after the 15th (payday) so I can buy ammo.
  10. My primary method for the class was weak side pocket carry with a J Frame revolver. Next time, probably Smart Carry with the J frame.
  11. I have to say that I will always agree with shooting more rounds. Like a smart guy once said, "Practicing correctly makes perfect ." (or something like that) Today's Advanced Concealed Carry class probably could've been called Basic Concealed Carry because the basic foundations for concealed carry practices were covered and introduced in the class, but it is up to each individual to advance their own skills with practice. I thought that Todd and Dustin were very complete in their preparation for the course. They were very thorough in their instructions and demonstrations of exercises they wanted us to do. They were understanding and patient with all the students from very new shooters to the more experienced shooters. I plan to take the course again someday with one of the other methods of concealed carry that I commonly use. I look forward to learning how other people perform with methods of concealment that I have considered in the past. I think anyone who carries a gun everyday could benefit from this class. I was glad to find a class that could pick up where the handgun safety courses left off. With much more practice, I'll someday be ready to take the Defensive Pistol class. All in all, it was a great day and money well spent. I look forward to taking my next class from them.
  12. It's really not looking good. 70% chance of rain. We'll see.

    Wolverine

I hope I'm not doubling another post, but has anyone but me seen X-men Origins yet? I thought it was a very good picture. My wife liked it too. She REALLY liked Taylor Kitch and Hugh Jackman also. I thought it had good fight seens as well as the special effects. I would say it is possibly my favorite X-men movie. Any thoughts?
  14. I like the Mason Dixon EC hybrid because it allows the use of the same holster IWB or OWB.
  15. When is the start of the day? I know we used to get there about 11AM. Is this one earlier? I'm sure the owner will be there. He seems to show up when he hears shooting to collect money. Looking forward to seeing y'all there. <---- Wow, 400 posts. Cool.
  16. Yep, me too. It's not the recoil spring. It slams shut with an empty mag if I pull the slide all the way back by hand. It has to be the slide release or the magazine, but I'm no gunsmith.

    Whats next....

Glock 17 or Ruger 10-22 or Saiga 12 ga.
  18. I watched TGO David do my Glock 21 and 30. I don't think it's anything anybody couldn't do on their own. However, David has a sight pusher for the rear that makes it much more doable.

    Ruger P345 .45 Auto

I had one. It was a great feeling gun. I only got rid of it to allow me the opportunity to buy my VEPR K EBR. I like the way it shot. The first shot was crisp and every shot there after was a very light trigger. I did have a few FTF problems, but that was normally after the gun got dirty at the range. My wife really liked it also. It was heavy enough on the front that she had more control of the gun. They (Ruger) say dry firing without a magazine installed will cause damage to the gun. If you buy it new, no prob, but if you're buying used, I guess you're taking a chance. Good luck.
  20. Very nice, Stephanie's so jealous. Thanks BTW. She wants to shoot it at Owl Hollow. We'll be sure to bring ammo so she can compare it to the Glock.
  21. Yep, I gottem for my Glock 21 and I really like them. That's why I'm gettin them for the Glock 30. Any future Glock I get will have them also. Perhaps a Glock 17 and a 26.
  22. I just ordered a set for my Glock 30. I can't wait.
  23. Come out to the Mid TN meetnshoot on the 16th and I'll let you shoot them.
