  1. Thanks for getting the results posted so quickly - what a great day!
  2. You're a Highpower shooter, right? I thought all you guys can put TEN shots into the x-ring without even thinking about it! You're even an "old-school" Highpower shooter that's not afraid of the 30 cal. ;-)
  3. Not sure if I feel better or worse now. I got some practice today on the things that ate my lunch last match: 25yd clays with the rifle and the 10" steel at 210 yds. I went ten for ten on the long "steel": 25yd clays were similar. It's clear my rifle is plenty accurate, my sights are on, and I know my holds. I just can't pull the effing trigger smoothly under pressure...
  4. I forgot - which barrel length did you choose? It's hard to tell with that long handguard.
  5.   1- 1.5" with surplus ball ammo?!?!?  Were those 5 shot groups from the magazine, or single load?  Wonder what it would do with match ammo...   I'm really looking forward to seeing this thing in action Sunday!
  6. Too cool - what's the thing weigh? My wife and my savings account might not like you very much after seeing this thing in action Sunday. I've been debating between this one and the DPMS G2 Hunter...
  7. Tell us about this HM AR Mark! I've been lusting over AR308s for the past year. I'll be there with the FAL if the planets don't align against me. I haven't practiced my 25yd clays yet though - I'd better get on it.
  8. Thanks for all the hard work guys - I enjoyed it!   I will be practicing shooting clays at 25 yds...
  9. Awesome! One my way -
  10. For everything but open class, max shotgun capacity is 8+1?  Handgun capacity is 10+1?
  11. Are there rules posted anywhere?  I'm changing some equipment and want to make sure I don't break any rules.   I'm all about the monkey bars!
  12. Thank you sir - looking forward to it!
  13. I haven't seen anything on the next regularly scheduled 3-gun in Manchester on Sunday. Is it still on? I'm doing my first ever triathlon Saturday, but if I can move at all on Sunday I'll be there!
  14. You could also say that I came in last. It's all in your perspective!
  15. Thanks for the quick turn-around, Alan! Great match today - I really enjoyed all of the difficult scenarios.
  16. I may not pull the trigger well tomorrow, but I'll sure know where my rifle is shooting this time -
  17. It's looking like another hot match day - bring plenty of water and gatorade!
  18. I'll be there! I need to refine the FAL zero a bit first so I can finish that last stage this time I think...
  19.   But it didn't keep me from winning my class!  Congrats to DMark for winning his class as well -   I will definitely be watching my foot and the box next time.  I will also be double-checking my zero and practicing those 250 yd targets.  And shotgun reloading.  And planning my stage better so I don't shoot the pistol empty right after activating the mover.  And not grabbing the wrong ammo so I miss the clays with the rifle while getting into an awesome sitting position with one foot out of the box in order to get ELEVEN PENALTIES for three stupid clays.  :surrender:   I really enjoyed the challenging rifle targets today, even though they kicked my butt.  Thanks to everyone involved for making it happen!
  20. Maybe he will find me worthy as a student!
  21. Way to go Rickey!
  22. Aw - come on!  I'm bringing the FAL, but I'm wussing out and putting a scope on it.  Depending on the lighting and how it is painted I may or may not be able to clearly see a 10" target at 250yds with the naked eye.  I've been looking for an excuse to try this 1-4 scope out anyway.  We'll see if the man and the rifle are up to it, but I won't have any eyball excuses.  A 4 MOA target is nothing to sneeze at.
  23.   Hahahaha!  Aim at 45° and pray!     Only if you don't miss...
  24. Great news! Will the targets be big enough to see with the naked eye (iron sight friendly), or will I need a scope?
