i have a SIG 516 for sale if that interest you - its a great rifle.

Well after a long research and input from others and a price tag of around $1700 i have decided not to buy the M4 as much as i would love to i can't spend that much for a shotgun, so the decision has been made to go with  FNH SLP MK1 Tactical - for $1199  - read so many great reviews oabout it and it functions preaty much the same as the M4 just $500 cheaper. Benelli M4 is still a great shotgun but just to expensive.   thank you all for your inputs.

Can someone please talk me out of buying such an expensive Shotgun - i can't stop thinking about it.

Thanks guys as always great answers - I live in a Townhome where homes are one next to another - shared walls so overpenetrating is an issue that is my biggest concern - i own few 9mm handguns that have lights on them and few AR's and was looking to get a Shotgun - so far my 1st.choice is the Handgun both for me and the wife 2nd is the AR15 due to its accuracy - still doing some research on what the best defense round is for my AR15 with lowest penetration possible.   And like many of you have said - practice and practice more with whatever you choose to use -  just this morning i saw on the news that there was a Home Invasion in Nashville and that the home owner was shot - 3 or 4 guys broke in the house - that is another thing to consider it seams now these days its always more then one person breaking in.

I will be there this Saturday for sure, and like Ted said we can get out there again when more of us have free time. So who ever can't attend this weekend we can try and meet again soon.   i am bringing   LWRC M6A2 SPR,   SIG 516,  and my AK74 to shoot.

One day someone is going to make a wrong move and a bad thing will happen, my opinion is if you carry a firearm like we all do please carry it smart and conceal it - why would you want to carry a long gun in a middle of a downtown in a big city - you are just going to make your self a target and make everyone else nervous - others don't know you and don't know your intentions - it may be our constitutional right to do so but just be smart and put some logic to it, leave it in a car and carry your pistol or 2 pistols if you want and conceal it - others don't need to know who you are and what you have on you.

If you can wait until Thanks Giving you can get a great deal on one.

This past week few guys and me had a discusion on LWRC rifles and we mentioned that we would like to meet up and bring out our LWRC's and spend a day at the range. I would like to go ahead and see if we can get this scheduled. From the post i saw that all of us shoot at the CHMR range in Franklin Tn - so date that i propose is the upcoming saturday 07/20. All interested please respond and lets get together and have some fun - the range is open for members and you can bring someone with you for a $5 fee to shoot, if you want to become a member the cost is $60.00 for the whole year - wich is not a bad deal.   So who ever owns a LWRC rifle let us know if you can come - there are few of us that have the SPR's and  someone is bringing out the REPR for us to try out.   Even if you dont own a LWRC and are interested in Piston AR's you are welcome to come and hang out with us.     Again saturday 07/20  around 9-10am if that works for everyone.   thanks.     Sonny.

they fixed the ejector, they re-welded the rails and fixed the magwell so the magazines sit higher - no more FTF issues.

My rifle came back from the repair and they did an awsome job on it it works perfect. I will write a review on how awsome my experience was with Waffen Werks.

Well lets all get together and go to CHMR range I guess we all shoot there and bring our LWRC's out to play - also who ever mentioned to have a REPR - (Chris) if you could bring it out I would love to see that thing and get a feel for it that is my dream 308 - who is up for it!

I own one - you can check out my pictures, if you have the cash buy it you will be very happy with it. looking at the piston i wouldn't worry about it that thing will last forever and also they sell piston parts in case it breaks. Just look at the folks buying SCAR's parts are hard to come by but people love them - i personally think the SPR is an awesome weapon and in my opinion equal if not better then SCAR.   my opinion - piston rifles are the future -  very clean to shoot = less chances of jamming,  also you are welcome to try out mine just bring some ammo.

Just got my Call tag (prepaid label) for UPS from Waffen Werks today - now i need to find a nice box to ship it in and off she goes - great customer service from Waffen so far - another question in my hunt for a box - i have a Plastic rifle box that i recieved when i ordered my SIG 516 from Budsgunshop a year ago - would it be ok to use that to ship it in?
