hi guys looking to purchase this rifle - need some input if this rifle is a good buy, i am ok with the price just wonder about the quality i know Century had its issues but this shows built in Serbia at Zastava?

looks very nice - how much would this setup cost me if i was to build something like this?

I would but dont have the tools or a vise to lock the upper receiver in.

like the posting says - need a gunsmith to swap out the Flash-hider and put a muzzle brake on a AR10   thanks.

Well after doing all kind of research and crunching numbers i got me a rifle - i dint build one this time i ended up buying one from Guns and Leather  and after thinking hard i couldn't get my self to buy a Scar 17  for $2800 - 3000  and ended up purchasing a Ruger SR 762. another nice thing was that the owner from G&L matched Buds online price of $1540 which was very nice and that's why i buy most guns from them, i am very happy with the purchase it is a solid built rifle and surprisingly light for a Piston, plus flip up sights and 3 Pmags came with it, cant wait to get better and get out to shoot it.

Nothing precision crazy just a good battle rifle 14,5 or 16 barrel something that is lighter with a 308 punch so more of a all purpose rifle

its not seafood if it takes them couple weeks to pickup the stuff and its not sitting in a cold storage then its definitely not food.   unless its some sort of MRE's

Exactly, take out the magazine and pull the slide to charge the gun and then insert a magazine but remember if u get in trouble don't forget to rack it again to get it loaded and no worries being a newby we have all been there it takes time to get comfortable with a gun but u will get there and it is great from you to be on this forum and ask the questions,that's why we are here for - to help a fellow member and one more advice get to the range and shoot as much as u can afford it every other weekend will do and u will get to understand your gun quickly

probably the best advice for folks that are starting to carry a gun, every gun type except the revolvers, carry it cocked and without one in the chamber to get comfortable with it for few days and keep checking it and you will gain that trust in your gun and get a good holster that covers the trigger, there is nothing worse carrying chambered and being a nervous wreck and freaking out about it thinking it will fire on its own that is not safe for you or anyone around you.

  Ok Rich Burgess is saying that this isn't a confiscation letter, but he is a fool to think that the police will not come for them, that they are playing nice and giving people a chance to get rid of them on their own before they become felons,  this is just a prelude to whats coming a full blown confiscation,   PEOPLE THIS IS SIMPLE STRATEGY.   Let say i was in charge in CT what would i do do get rid of the guns.  lets assume they are 100000 Rifle owners that are in question now.   Step 1. make a law to have them register all the guns -  already passed - about 50000 registered.   Step 2. - Here is where the letter we all are talking about comes in place.  Point out to the rest of them that if they didn't comply  they will become felons and could face jail time - lets say this calculated move makes additional 20000 people register. An additional 15000 gets scared of confrontation with the police and complies with the letter and gets rid of the their guns completely.    that eliminates about 85% or 85000 people that they have to deal with and here comes step 3.   Step 3. Send out armed units to the remaining 15% and take away the weapons by any means necessary, these are all calculated moves to reduce the percentage of people who would fight back where now you only have 15000 hardliners  from 100000 that will fight back and that is manageable,  after these hardliners are gone they will come back and take the weapons away from the other 85% due to the fact that they showed them a weakness in following the orders already and that they want put up a fight - History showed us that once the leaders are taken out the regular soldiers will likely lay down their weapons and surrender.   I hope it doesn't come to this scenario but it sure looks to me that it will.
