  1. Anyone has experience shipping a firearm to a manufacturer - once i recive the UPS call tag  from WW what do i do - can i have UPS pickup a rifle from my place or do i have to go to the main UPS facility in Nashville and send it like that - i heard somewhere that UPS drivers are not allowed to pickup firearms anymore - everything has to be taken to their main facility.   so if anyone has done it let me know.   thanks.
  2. i like it alot, serves the purpose i know there are many better ones out there but for the purpose that i use the rifle for ( target practice ) its awesome, i can understand that some guys buy $2000 optics but i don't i rather spend the cash on a better rifle.
  3. I have an extra Charging Handle for sale here - its ambidextrous ( Rainier Arms Raptor ) look it up its very nice.

  5. the mags helped a little but its still happening - something must be off with this one to many things are wrong, I have sent an email to the president of Waffen Werks this morning and he replied to me few hours later - said that there are going to send me a UPS code and ship the rifle for free to them to get it fixed - i was pleasantly surprised when i saw the response so quick and being that its Saturday. That is some great customer service by far.
  6. the bolt is turning and the ejector passes trough that notch on the bolt but it looks like its not touching the casing at all or maybe barely but it does not make any difference.
  7. it remains in the bolt face as straight as it comes out of the chamber.

    AK 74 Issue

Does anyone know a good AK armorer around Nashville, TN area?   I just got a Waffen Werks AK74 few weeks ago and i am having some failures to feed with it. i have read that some people are talking about magazines sitting to low, the rail being to high but i am not very familiar with AK's and dont have the tools to fix things my self, the problem that i think i see is that when charging the weapon the bolt is not grabbing the bullet deep enough - it just grabbs it 2-3mm on the edge i dont know if thats normal but it seems by doing that it pushes the bullet out crooket and it will jam sometimes, on the other hand i may run 5-10 bullets fine and then it happens again.  All i have is 4 Tapco mags that came with it and i will buy some Bulgarian or russian mags to see if the mag is the problem. any help and advice is apreciated.   thanks
  12. does anyone know if we can purchase magazines in Europe and have them shipped here - imported, is that legal and has anyone tried it out, i have family in Germany and they can buy East German Bakelite 74's for around $10/piece. thanks.
  13. Check out Guns and Leather shooting academy - they have a 3 day course to become certified instructor - this course will get you certified only for state of TN but this certificate will help you become NRA certified instructor and thats good for the whole US, you just have to pick what area interests you - Handgun, Rifle, Defense Shotgun etc... Check them out they are nice group of guys.

  17. thanks guys,  i think AK is smart choice to go with - even if the SIG fixed all the issues there are so many parts and accesories available for an AK.   Now i need to figure out what type to get,  i was looking at some Arsenal  SGL type ak's i have about $1400 that i can spend on a rifle alone so go ahead and give me some suggestions.   thank you all for help.
  18. I do own 2 AR's and i think i will go with an AK. thanks
  19. hey guys i am looking for an advice, due to recent ammo shortage and price i am thinking of getting me a rifle chambered in 7.62x39. honestly i was never really a fan of AK47 platform but i may consider getting one these days, looking at some rifles i came across a SIG 556R Any feedback on this rifle would be appreciated also if anyone has a suggestion on a AK47 that i can get ( what should i look for in one, what type, manufacturer and so on).   thanks in advance
  20. 1.  Steyr S9-A1 or M9-A1,  these handguns are probably best kept secrets out there, Best grip position by far comparing to any other guns on the market, almost no muzzle rise at all when shooting. Trigger is 4lbs crisp short much better then Glocks.  try shooting one of these and u will love it.
  21. very nice, let me know how easy is to clean the chamber - that is whats holding me up before buying it, i hate to dissemble the whole thing to get to it, let me know please.
  22. Just finished my AR build, Here are some pictures Thanks guys i have it figured out.
  23. Tony and Chris are great instructors, me and few of my friends were fortunate enough to do level 3 and level 4 classes there and these guys will teach you ton of good stuff. They have my full support and we will go there again, like they say there is never enough practice when you carry on a daily basis - money well spent and i recommend them to everyone who wants to get more comfortable with their guns and improve their skills.
