  1. What he said. Just bump up your 401k. 5% is not much, even if you have employer match-contribution. Try to get in the 15-20% range. If you want to invest in a roth, put like 1-2% in there and forget about it.  Also check into Fidelity, have had really good results.
  2. Same thinking here. However the youtube video's seem promising. I would imagine they get hard to load after 25-30 rounds, but we will see.
  3. in stock, spoke with buds yesterday and they had recieved about 2k of them. Picked up 2, we will see how they work. Video looks promising.   http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/916/products_id/411553053/Buds+Surplus/Glock+9MM+50+Rd.+Drum

  8. I used to love several places several that are in the Franklin/Brentwood area, but I noticed over time all of the micro-scratches in my paint. So, I am now a hands wash only guy. I have also become quite proficient with using a clay bar as well.
  9. I had one of the zombie's but didnt fill him with the tannernite. Just shoot him, alot! Bleeds when you hit him (pink paint balls on the inside). Probably have over 500 rounds in him so far...

    buying my first GLOCK

I think you meant "gun" instead of "gen" which is short for generation, which is often a term used with glocks. Depends, are you plan on daily carrying? The glock 22 is a full-size gun. You can carry, but might be a little big. I would probably go with a 9mm, since ammo prices are through the roof, and 9mm is cheaper to shoot than 40. Can't go wrong with a glock 19 or 26. I personally have the G17, G19, G23, G29, G36. And if worst came to worst, my glocks would be the last gun I'd get rid of. Have you thought about an Ar-15 for your second gun? Let us know more of what your intentions are for a 2nd gun...and I'm sure the advice will pour in.

    8K "reptile" gun

Saw that too....my jaw dropped. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/756/products_id/76665/Rifles/Century+International+Arms+Inc./Mossberg+MVP+VAR+24+HB+223+LAM+10RD 519.00 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=276602762 690.00 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=276602762 299.00 For a grand total of 1,508. So there must have been 6,492 dollars worth of etching "trigger work" and smoothing everything out. I will never watch that show again.
  12. So I just read...ugh. .22 Rim Fire, 9mm, .38, .45acp - 8 yards .357, .40 SW, .44 mag - 12 yards Shotgun w/ lead bird shot - 12 yards Shotgun w/ std velocity 00 buck - 20 yards Shotgun w/ std velocity slug - 50 yards .30-30 - 100 yards .308, .30-06 - 150 yards .223 - 200 yards .22-250 - 300 yards 300 Win Mag – 400 yards With the rifle it is more a matter of keeping your distance so you don't damage the target. Once you damage the target, it becomes unsafe at closer ranges under 50 yards. Another way to look at this is to keep your impact velocity under 2600 fps to avoid damage.
