  1. I personally own and shoot IDPA with a Kimber external extractor model Stainless Target II. I am nearing 40k+ rounds out of it personally and have never had a FTE out of it. I did have to replace it just a few months ago because it was wore and needed too be changed like all extractors will from time too time, but even being wore down too a nub it still functioned perfectly. I wouldnt hesitate buying a 1911 with the external extractor again.
  2. Wish I could make it, but thats also the date of the TN State IDPA match. Maybe next time
  3. I wont be able too attend this match since I am already signed up too shoot the Cup, but i'll be sending some toys up with another shooter that will be attending.
  4. Falcon Bullet Company is now offering 30cal 165gr .309 bullets designed for 30-30 lever guns. Prices and availability should be on their website very soon. Lets support a great local company
  5. There is no substitute for Dillon. They are hands down the best product on the market just for their legendary customer service.
  6. ooops shows what I know. Dang no shooting at all next weekend for me then
  7. Musicman Gallatin Gun Club will be holding an IDPA match next Saturday. Thats not too far from Smyrna, come on out and have a little fun
  8. Go ahead and put me down for that prize please Michael.
  9. WHOOO HOOOO Sounds like a great prize table. I hear those Falcon Bullets are top notch.
  10. I took advantage of this sale. 45acp bullets will be abundant shortly :)
  11. Guess all that steel you play with seems too help huh Rickey lol
  12. Unless of course its lazer grips, that will add a little value since they are 200 or 300 bucks. whatever those useless things are going for now lol
  13. Trigger job really does nothing to increase value when it gets down too it, neither do grips or a guiderod. If you put all kinds of fancy stuff on a hi point, you still have a 150 dollar gun
  14. Thats not a bad price. 800 is usually top dollar for a used 1911 loaded that I have saw. I would definitely try to talk them down if possible though. Depending on condition cosmetically 800 out the door would probably be the absolute top I would personally pay.
  15. Para makes a pretty decent 40 1911. if youre only wanting a range toy

  19. Mine has the Apex competition trigger and warren tactical sights on the full size 45. It will shoot more accurately than I can, and it will feed SWC's. I absolutely love it, and the fact that the FDE with a black backstrap is a beautiful combination. IMO
  20. Why do they get such a bad rep? Ive heard so many people talking about how bad the trigger sucks, and how they dont group etc etc. I'll debate the accuracy of them with anyone, and as far as the trigger, Its a polymer framed pistol so yes the trigger sucks, just like an xd and a glock stock trigger sucks. Apex can fix that very easily. Im first and formost a 1911 guy, but I own a M&P and love it.....

  22. Fun match guys, enjoyed seeing everybody there having a good time today. This working  a split shift and Only getting a couple hours of sleep is really affecting my shooting LOL.
