  1. Will do! Would that info be on Lexis Nexis? I went and turned my permit application in today. I tried calling the Handgun Permit office on Foster Ave., but they close at 4:30pm. Since I got printed in the HGPO when I worked for THP. I'm going to see if I can get my prints transfered. Hopefully I won't have to go down there again and this time pay to get printed... -Mike
  2. Went to On Target last night to go through the HCP class with one of my friends. It was a little bit boring, very informative though about the legal ramifications of carrying and using your gun. for On Target. Now off to the DMV to get my application in!!! -Mike
  3. I shoot mostly on my property. Occasionally I get over to On Target.
  4. I personally prefer the 23 to the 27. It's much more managable as far as follow up shots are concerned, and it's not too much bigger than the 27 is.
  5. It's an interesting process. They take a plastic sheet bearing the pattern, in your case real tree camo. They transfer it and let it float on the surface of a tank of chemicals that soften the sheet almost to the point of liquefying it. They then dip the part into the tank through the sheet. The sheet takes on the shape of the part. Then they remove it from the tank and spray it off with another chemical which hardens the film and viola, one coated Glock. Cool little pistol.

  7. Used to own a Remington 870 tactical edition with the parkerized finish and pistol grip stock.
  8. What do you guys use for payment? Paypal isn't generally accepted by anyone over there, and I dislike sending money through the postal service...

  10. Add about another inch to your pant's/belt size.
  11. The CTAC has been fine with me. I've only worn it around the house and around my property. I've yet to have a problem with it coming up with a draw though. I have been thinking about ordering some j-clips for it. The Fobus IWB one is actually pretty comfortable. It's only 3mm wider than the gun is. It looks big though, it's molded on a curve in back so it rests against you waist very comfortably.
  12. Just got in some new holsters. Fobus GL2 and Comp-Tac C.T.A.C. Fobus IWB Fobus 2 mag

    Favorite Gun Rag?

I usually read Guns magazine. I only read it in the store though. I only buy about 1 per year when there is something of interest in it.

    The Dentist!!!

I've heard that after 2 days the chemical addiction is gone. After that it takes about a month to get the physical addiction to go away. Be strong, It will only help you in the end! -Mike

I ordered a plug for the bottom of the grip and 3, 13 round mags. SHipping was 7 dollars or so, and they offer free shipping if you spend 75 dollars. I was 7 dollars away so I got some oil and a nylon cleaning brush, bringing me to $75.01. Now the problem. I got sent a shipping email confirming the order and giving me a tracking number. Total on the confimation e-mail, $15.85. They have the grip plug, oil and brush on it but no mags.. Total on the charge to my account, $75.01. I sent them an e-mail asking for some clarification but they closed at 5pm. Frustrating.
  16. They still do the background check as far as I know...
  17. Welcome! I have two good friends here in Nashville from Jersey. Good to see more people here in TN. Especially those that are gun lovers! -Mike
