  1. Today I purchased a Savage model 10 fcp-sr. Its a 308 with a 24" fluted and threaded bull barrel with 1 in 10" twist. http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/M10FCP10 I am looking for a scope in the $500 or less range. I'd like something with at least 15x magnification (on the hi side) and a mil-dot reticle and maybe a 50 mm objective. This is uncharted territory for me as the most expensive scope I have is a $100 3x9x40mm bushnell. Any input is appreciated. I just don't want to blow that much money on something that won't track or that will break on the first range trip.
  2. My 1st cousin is a Sheriff Deputy in northeast Tennessee and that is the ammo his department issues. He carries a backup .380 and that's what is in it.
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I will clean my loading bench off and lay everything out to make sure it is all there.
  4. PSA Lower build kit is here. Came with 5 gen 2 pmags :)
  5. Me too :)
  6. $424.99 with BCG and charging handle http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/complete-uppers/psa-16-m4-premium-upper-with-bcg-charging-handle-and-psa-aluminum-rear-flip-up-sight.html
  7. $399.99 no bcg or charging handle http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/complete-uppers/m4-premium-16-cmv-chrome-lined-stripped-upper-without-bcg-or-charging-handle.html
  8. So a couple of months ago I purchased a Ruger mark III 22/45 Lite with a threaded barrel. I am now in the market for a suppressor. I know I want one that can be disassembled for cleaning. It will spend most of the time on the 22/45 but will occasionally be on a Walther p22 and possibly on my 10/22. The only "can" I have had any experience with was a Long Range Precision "Ghost" made in Andersonville Tenn. It seemed pretty good to me but, I didn't have anything to compare it to. So basically I'm just asking for opinions on different brands, models, and styles. Any brand or model I should stay away from? Anything else I should be looking for? I saw a few mentions of "k baffles" while reading other posts...what is the difference?
  9. Ordered one of these earlier. PSA MOE lower build kit and 5 pmags $159.99. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/lower-parts/magpul-5-pmags-moe-lower-build-kit-black-mag571lbkb.html

  18. Woo-hoo! Facebook comes thru again five minutes after my fb post I have found a box of speer gold dot short barrel and a box of low recoil hydra-shok. Going to pick them up tomorrow.
  19. I may take you up on that if I can't find anything around here. Thanks
  20. I do reload for 9mm, 45acp, 44mag, and 223. I just don't have dies for 38 yet. If she sticks with it I will get some for it.
  21. She is a regular shooter but this is the first carry size gun that she has liked. She had a Charter Arms 38 but she didn't like it so we sold it about a year ago with all of our 38 ammo. She shot 40 rounds of the super clean stuff this afternoon... and she put my 10 shots to shame. On our way home I got two more 50 rounds boxes of it to practice with.
  22. So my wife went to the grocery store this morning and came home with this That's not the problem I am extremely excited that she is going to finally start carrying. The problem is the only ammo they had was Winchester super clean nt. That hippy no lead non toxic junk. Don't get me wrong its ok to practice with but I can't find her any carry rounds for it. Anyone know where I can find some 38 special personal defense rounds in north east tn/ tri-cities area? Store or personal stash? I know ammo is hard to come by right now but, I would hate for her to change her mind about carrying just because of the ammo shortage. Any help would be highly appreciated. Josh
