  1. Thanks guys. That's kinda what I was thinking. If it wasn't for my daughter I'd just leave them alone. They aren't bothering me I have been working in the yard and on the porch all day and haven't had any issues. I just don't want her to get stung.
  2. Do you know of anyone in the Tri-cities that does bee removal? I have a hive of honey bees that have taken up residence inside of my front porch. I am allergic to bee stings but that's not what I'm worried about. I have a one year old that loves playing in the front yard and I really don't want her to get stung trying to get on the porch. I checked Google and found a few names of people who do it but wanted to check here first. Never know there may be a beekeeper among us that would like to have them?
  3. Thanks! I really like it. Very clear glass the elevation and windage track well and adjustments are repeatable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
  4. I think I got there around 5:30 and stayed until 7:00. I was the only one on the lower range. There was a guy shooting the upper range but he left around 6:00. It was pretty peaceful.
  5. Must be out of bbq sauce and rub :/
  6. Optic is a Vortex Viper PST 6-24×50mm second focal plane. Got it used off of TGO member Spots.
  7. Sweet thanks! The rifle is my Savage model 10 fcp-sr 308
  8. Can't figure out how to embed the video. Not very tech savvy.
  9. Went to the range today to check out some of my reloads and shot a short video of one of the shots. I was impressed because I was filming with my left hand and shooting with my right hand and a bi-pod. 350 yard gong hit while filming with one hand: https://youtu.be/cA0CBgjf6IM
  10. Tag for when I get home and look up my data. I'm using IMR 4064 for all of my 308 loads. Looks like on the 178 gr amax bullets I'm using 42.4 grains of IMR 4064 Federal 210 primers and an OAL of 2.800". It has been very accurate out of my savage model 10 fcp-sr 24" 1-10 twist. 100 yard 4 and 5 shot groups of 0.5" and smaller.
  11. Sorry. Mine is the seventh edition. It lists the bullet but no H-335 data.
  12. I seem to have "misplaced" my speer reloading data. I have a couple of boxes of 200 grain .429 caliber speer gold dots that I was going to load up. I seem to remember that the max load for 44 magnum gold dots using H-110 was quite a bit lower than the max load for the Hornady XTPs that I normally load. Anyone have the speer data handy that could give me the minimum and max loads for them?
  13. My new pic is the business end of an XDS 45 and a Speer gold dot. And no I didn't have it pointed at my face. A mirror was used to get this photograph.
  14. I have the 9mm XDM 5.25 competition series and it is a sweet shooter. The first trip to the range with it we were easily hitting clay pigeons offhand at 50 yards. I have not had a chance to shoot the 45 model however last Saturday I got to handle one at Cherokee rod and gun club. The owner had added a tungsten guide rod and a powder river competition trigger and it felt great.
  15. Thought mine was messed up last fall. Turns out the handguard was in the full forward position. After about an hour of pulling on the rope I happened to hit the handguard back into the right position and she fired right up. Made me feel very dumb :/
  16. This is what I have been using
  17. I don't keep my shotgun loaded. However my wife keeps her 12ga. loaded with Hornady TAP 00 buck.
  18. Your wife wants a Kimber Ultra Raptor II...Congratulations! Does she have a sister?
  19. Haven't seen this for a warrant before, but I have seen cops come in guns drawn on more than one occasion while someone was in the gun shop trying to sell or trade stolen guns.
  20. Congratulations. I'm trying out a few different kinds of pellets in my new Gamo silent cat. Mine seems to really like the Gamo red fire 7.8 grain pellets. I am using the iron sights (actually fiber optic). My dad has already taken the scope that came with it or I'd let you have it. Best 3 shot group from 25 yards using the side mirror of my truck as a support.
  21. I have been reading a lot about building suppressors on here and a few other sites. I may go this route. By trade I'm a pipe fitter so getting material to build it with will be pretty easy. I can get access to a couple of machine shops pretty easily. I guess I really just need to quit procrastinating and fill out some paperwork.
  22. So I've decided start reloading 300 blackout for my yet to be completed TGO build. Still need a barrel, a hand guard, and a dust cover. It will be shot without a suppressor until more funds are available. These are my starting components. 2000 inert 308 tracers. 142 grain I think. I need to weigh some and see for sure. Several once fired 223 brass casings. 100 Hornady 208 grain match 100 Hornady 180 grain interbond 100 Hornady 178 grain A-max 60 pulled 147 grain NATO 8 lbs of H -110 and 4 lbs of IMR 4227 What else should I be looking for and what dies should I get.
  23. Did some quick research and came up with a few sites that sell stuff similar to superluminova pigment: http://www.ofrei.com/luminous-paste-for-watch-hands-and-dials.html http://www.noctilumina.com/main/prices.php http://www.esslinger.com/luminova-green-glow-in-the-dark-paint-kit.aspx
  24. They make a great grip. I have one on my Yugo under folder now it fits my hand perfect. http://uspalm.com/component/magebridge/us-palm-ak-battle-grip.html?Itemid=102
