The sweetest girl in the world, who baby-sat..watched our boys anytime we went out anywhere when they were growing up, has an incurable rare form of a stage 4. Her diagnosis was 10+ yrs ago, and her oldest daughter is graduating this year. She does some type of IV transfusion on a very regular basis at the cancer center, and otherwise has done fantastic. Continued prayers that they can rid her of this cancer!

Having just read this, hits close to home for me in many ways. Prayers for your family!

We are nostrils deep in what a corrupt government can do to show its all-out disregard, and disrespect for older taxpayers of every type. Saddest of times .. and hopefully soon to be corrected.

I honestly hope I never know.. and can keep gas in my old vehicles until I’m gone. Buying another carb non-computer vehicle very soon.

Bought a few for 69 each last year.. which is too much. Same place wants 109 this year. Glad I prefer 10yr Henry McKenna and Taylor… as I can normally find them in the 50’s enough that I should never run out

Have always shot at my place, and the Sheriff is an old friend… but I have had some retired folks who don’t seem to be “gun folks” move in next door. So, now I feel obligated to tell them before I shoot.. since it’s normally magnum revolvers, and I don’t want to cause them “issues”.. He seems ok with it, but she appears quite aggravated. Knew I should’ve bought more acreage decades ago.

At this point in life, my old SW 41 magnums. The 3” Lew Horton (657) is about as cool as it gets. Someone had it ported.. poorly done IMO. So, it’s sitting at SW now, hoping the estimate to replace with a new non ported 3” barrel doesn’t break the bank
