Well here in Montgomery county we dont have any at all . I was just in Jackson and in Lawrenceburg yesterday . About 100 miles apart and both had no cicadas .
-
My revolver once "jammed" , the cylinder would'nt turn . It was a bullet that came un-crimped and moved forward . It was something to remember . It always sticks out in my mind when people sing praises of Revolvers . They TOO can fail .

Where are the cicadas ? I remember back in 1998 they were everywhere . They are supposed to come out now but I havent seen one at all ? I guess all the rain and floods slowed the time they were supposed to emerge from the ground .

This is just too darn heavy and it gets heavier every year .

How many cylinders do you have ? I had a 2002 V-6 and it was the "interference" type engine . You better get the timing belt changed out before you get engine damage if it is near 80,000 miles and the belt breaks . I know that was off-topic , but I wanted to give you a heads up on that . The 4 cylinders should be chains and are good to go a long time .

Yes , Glocks for ease of maintenance , rust resistance , and reliability . But if they want a traditional DA/SA I say get the Stoeger Cougar in 9mm . You have a hammer fired pistol with a DA/SA and they can learn the basics . Plus it is a big bang for the buck . I love mine . Just look at the pic in my avatar ! Its my Stoeger Cougar in .45acp

What are your thoughts and experiences on the S&W M&P 15-22 rifle ? Reliability ? Problems ? Ease of disasembly ? Parts availability ?

The 2 most reliable weapons I have and my friends have : Glock and CZ . I like them both . The CZ will make a bad shooter shoot good Both are super reliable .

Hey , dont worry about the weight , I have always heard that if you are married and happy with your wife and your life with her then you will gain some weight . I went from 165 when I was married to now at 220 . We been married 14 yrs and she is my best friend and we still have fun and enjoy each other . Good for you doing the run ! It doesnt matter if you walked it or ran it , you did it and that is all that counts ! Good for you !

I have an old TV I had when I was 11 yrs old . It is from 1984 . It is an RCA black and white . In the back it only has 2 wire recepticles (screws) to hook your antenna up to it . Does anyone here know how I can get it to work with the new style whatever they call it crap ? I know that when "regular" tv went to the "new style" , people were getting boxes or converters to make their tv's work but I dont know where to look for these ? Any help is appreciated . I hate to waste a good old tv . Here she is

Yes and right on . DOnt mention or even bring up the carry thing . Just tell the Cheif or his supervisor what a bad day you were having being broken down and how nice it was for this officer to help you out . And make sure to tell the supervisor to let the officer know that he got a COMPLIMENT . Officers get so many complaints and we hear them all the time . They dont get to always hear the good compliments . Most Depts make sure all complaints are in writing , but most COMPLIMENTS are just verbal . If that officer gets a "good job" letter or a written compliment about how a citizen took the time to call in and say good things , it makes the officer feel a lot better about his job and the community .

I swapped the coils to other cylinders and they are now showing misfires , so this makes me think the coils in 2 and 4 are bad .
-
Hey there Mr. 6.8 AR , Why didnt I go to you in the first place ! You doing ok ? Yeah , My computer shows misfires in 2 and 4 and so does Autozone and Advance Auto computers . Gonna swap out the 2 different coils and put them in the "working" cyl's and see if it shows misfires in 1 and 3 . If so Then I think I will have 2 bad coils .

My mom's 2002 RAV4 has a 2.0L 4 CYL in it . She has had it since new and it has been babied by me . All of a sudden today it started missing when the engine is under load . I put in new plugs and it still does this .It has one coil per CYL built into the spark-plug boot. . The check engine light indicates multiple misfires in cylinders 2 and 4 . I think the #2 and #4 coils are bad . What do you think ? Any help is appreciated . I thought if I swap the 1 and 3 coils to 2 and 4 and then check the computer , it may show the 1 and 3 bad which would mean bad coils on those original coils . What do you think ? I need to get my mom back up and running .

Hey Craig , are the round things the slide-lock levers, in the place that they are on most semi-autos? Just wondering . I am more familiar with the MK's . They are good looking dolls !

My wife just saw it while I was looking at it again and said "that looks like a Darth Maul gun " . Star Wars fans , you know what she means .

I dont think anything was changed on the Gen 4 26's but the grip . The grip without the atachments is like a short-frame Glock and to make it "regular" you have to add one of the attachments . The recoil spring assembly stayed the same as far as I know . I know on my Gen 4 without any attachemts , the grips feels shorter .
-
WOW Craig , you reallly have been busy ! That is nice . How does that magwell attach to the frame ? Also I like your line where you said , "tactical clothes wearing expensive 1911 toting friends." hahahaha thats a good one !
