  1. I am not google savvy but my wife is . She and I have googled random lyrics to a song I heard in 1995 over the speakers at store I worked at. It could have been an 80's or 90's song but not any older than 1995 because I heard it on the radio in 1995. My range of music is pretty much everything except rap music. This song was sung by a female , and the music seemed like it was "pop" or "pop rock" . It was almost like ABBA style music and even sounded a bit like them. But this was back in 1995 and so I'm sure my brain has distorted the sound and words by now. The lyrics were possibly "I see you in the sunlight" and another sentence went like "but this is just a dream". It was on the level and sound of music like the Bangles and ABBA. Back then we didnt have Internet or regular devices to "google" lyrics. Is there a website or internet tool that helps you look up random lyrics and such to find a song ? I have pulled up lots of songs over the years but can't find this particular one. Again , I have a huge range of music that I like and this may seem like a "girly" song but it was catchy and the girls voice was nice. Thanks in advance and sorry for a random goose chase.
  2. I'm reading this because I just had to call into work to use a sick day. I have a Gout flare up and can barely put any weight on my foot. I'm 51 years old and have worked hard and played hard. Like one of the members above said , it's the mileage and not the age for my situation. This flare up is my fault cause the last few weeks I've eaten and drank terribly. My knees and back are still usable but kinda worn from cutting and hauling wood half my life from us heating with a wood stove. Running and jogging has did a number on my joints too. I'm going to try to stay as healthy as I can while God allows me here on Earth. I guess the least I can do is to try to take care of the body he gave me. My downfall is food. I love cooking and eating so much. It sucks being "high mileage".
  3. I got to tell you other members , this is a good deal ! If you don't like the manual safety , then don't use it. If you still don't like it , it is easy to take out. I did this on my own M&P with a manual safety. This is a good deal plus the magazines ! This is a "Glock 19" made by S&W with a lifetime warranty .
  4. ***Price lowered to $455 for BOTH handguns tomorrow to a WELL ESTABLISHED TGO MEMBER WITH POSITIVE FEEDBACK.
  5. WOW , so much drama. I didn't expect all that mess. I'm keeping this ad up until tonight then if no WELL ESTABLISHED TGO MEMBERS are interested I'm keeping them. I've already found a Glock 21 Gen 3 . So if these don't sell tonight , I'll keep them.
  6. Over 660 miles round trip and almost 11 hours ?
  7. I would not pay it. The Toyota truck was made in Japan in the 80's. The newer ones are now made in Mexico and the reliability and workmanship is not as good. I would pay extra for Toyota's to be made in Japan. I have a 24 year old Mazda made COMPLETELY 100% in Japan. I still have it and it's going on 300,000 miles. It doesn't burn any oil at all . I also have an old Nissan Xterra that's 23 years old (for sale on here) , and it's running as great as the Toyota because it was made as good as good as the old Nissan Hardbody's before them by the same design and engines. The newer stuff is unreliable. I hate to say it but Americans can't build anything reliable these days. The last few things that I know were built reliable by Americans was the Ford F100 straight six and the Bell "Huey" helicopter. But that's my $.02.
  8. No offense but you are in Kingsport according to your profile. That all across God's creation from me. I don't ship.
  9. I added a sale price for BOTH of these pistols for $465 in case you don't have a G21 for trade and are still interested.
  10. AC stopped working 10 years ago so I removed the compressor and condenser to make more room under the hood.
  11. I'm always looking for a Marlin 981T in .22LR . I had one and sure miss it. It was a very inexpensive Marlin bolt gun but it fit me well.
  12. I got a old holster thats been in a basement and has gotten hard. Made for a Glock 43 OWB by Cobra Gunskin , which is nice and I got it cheap. I'm trying to soften it up since it's as hard as a rock. It had a strap but I tried oiling it and I was easy on it but the strap cracked so I cut it off. I am trying to save the rest of it. I have used Neatsfoot oil inside it and outside it. It has softened just a bit but not much. I took a toothbrush and used Neatsfoot oil scrubbing it down good. What is the best way to soften an old leather holster ? This didn't cost much so if it's no good then I'll throw it away. I will add that I put it in an oven at as low as I could go at 170 degrees and made it warm and then rubbed the Neatsfoot oil into it. Heck , I dont know LOL
  13. True. Here's my Glock 23 , which is the same as a Glock 19, on top of the M&P9. The only part that makes it a tad longer is the beaver tail.
  14. Those bananas are pretty good size. Your house must not be cold .
  15. Free bump for a nice slim .45ACP. This is the gun that the Glock 36 should have been. If you have ever handled or owned a Glock 36 then you know what I mean. This is sooooo much thinner than the Glock 36. I have one and really like it.
