  1. Either what Mike said, or Numrich has a a forum with a section on identifying or finding firearms parts that you might try posting your question in and they could link you directly to which ones you need on their site. Sometimes it takes them a few days to respond though.

    wow....

Pretty good point. Personally the amount of people one has slept with doesn't bother me that much if they were all disease free. What I am saying "wow" over in this thread is the conversation between Jamie and Mike now.
  3. As far as I know none exist saying that the critter is real, but some DO exist saying that what people think is the critter is really a dog........Yet as my comments point out people still believe that they're out there.

    My new EBT

I know what you mean. I gave my truck to my father years ago, and seemed like I was having to borrow the company truck at least once a month to haul something. I also ended up with a couple of dirt bikes and no way of hauling them, so I finally decided I absolutely must have another truck. I've had it a year now. Sold the bikes without ever putting them in the truck. Heck, the only things I've hauled in there since I've gotten it were things for someone else, that I wouldn't have had to even mess with if it weren't for the fact that I have the truck.

    wow....

    I gotta remember that one.
  6. It's not that easy though, because you've still got people who will refuse to believe in the scientific evidence, and want to start speaking of cover-ups and government conspiracy. It's a strange world we live in where a highly trained scientist can tell someone that an apple is an apple, yet that someone still thinks it's some new kind of fruit or the world's largest grape.
  7. Man, I'm gonna have to add one of those to my short list in the other thread. Definately excellent work on the grips.
  8. I like that one.
  9. Even though I'm from here, there is still one southern word that bugs me........."Torge". Example - "He lives ovair torge Knoxville."
  10. Personally I think it shoots excellent. I don't have a huge amount of AR experience, but from what I can tell there's not a single thing I'd want to change about it as far as how it shoots (trigger pull, etc.) From the bi-pod I can pretty much put every shot in a quarter or better at 100 yards. Also my father was taking his turn with it and decided to get happy and fire all 30 rounds as fast as he could pull the trigger, and even firing that fast was able to keep every shot in about a 5-6" circle at 100 yards. So far is has been one of those "boringly accurate" rifles where it seems like you can't miss what you're aiming at.
  11. It could be viewed that way, or perhaps those that came up with the whole idea of Chupacabras are the exact people I speak of in my comment. Instead of waiting to find out what it was, or calling it what it looked to most likely be, they decided that it must be some kind of new creature. If those folks wouldn't have jumped to the conclusion that it is some rare or legendary animal, the idea of Chupacabras may have never come about.......Kind of a chicken or the egg type thing.

    Short List

Oh boy, ones that I want. This is the list of what I plan to buy at some point. There are others that I can't think of right off the top of my head, and some of these I will most likely decide not to get, but so far here goes.... Sig Mosquito - .22lr Sig P226 - .357 Sig Sig P238 - .380 Kahr PM9 - 9mm Kel Tec PF9 - 9mm Kel Tec P3AT - .380 Ruger LCP - .380 Ruger Single Six - .22 Ruger Vaquero - .45lc Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380 Dan Wesson CCO - .45acp At least one other 1911 but I'm not sure which one. - .45acp Springfield XDM 45 - .45acp Glock 22 Gen 4 - .40 That's the list of handguns since that's the section we're in. I don't know if there are enough hours in the day for me to list the long guns that I want.
  13. I have yet to take up coyote hunting, but was planning to when I purchased this rifle. It's one of my favorites to shoot though, so I know it will be a joy to use when I do get around to hunting them. The camo one. Remington R-15 VTR .223 If I do take a liking to coyote hunting, which I'm sure I will, I will most likely also pick up a bolt action of some sort in .22-250.
  14. One of mine is barrelless until Thursday. I have to wait until then to post my two.
  15. Even though I think, and it's now been proven, that these are cases of dogs or coyotes with a bad case of mange, I'm still not really saying that I believe we've discovered everything that's out there in the wild. There's tons of animal species that have migrated further and further out in the wilderness as the humans take over and clear more and more land. There's also a huge amount of wilderness out there that either hasn't been explored or that is rarely explored. I'm not saying I necessarily believe in chupacabras or bigfoot, but knowing how clever some wildlife can be as far as hiding from humans, I do believe that there is the possibility for different things to be out there hiding somewhere. I just hate seeing these articles where someone makes a big uproar thinking they've killed or spotted something special when they don't have any actual proof of what it is, and then jump to the conclusion that it is some rare or legendary animal before even thinking about what it most likely is in reality.
  16. There's nothing better than staying inside on a cold damp fall/winter day, having a good supply of coffee, and watching Band Of Brothers. While watching it and drinking the coffee, I also usually take this kind of perfect occasion to do my yearly cleaning of all of my firearms that didn't get used throughout the year. As for my favorites though I'm gonna have to go with Saving Private Ryan or We Were Soldiers. From there it gets into alot of the older war movies.
  17. I hope it is a disease that turns dogs into zombies and makes them start sucking the blood out of livestock. Maybe it is a disease that has been around for a long time but is becoming more common and spreading more rapidly. If so......it's only a matter of time before it becomes noticable in humans........hopefully......
  18. Could just be a new kind of disease that's starting to catch on more and more in dogs. Honestly looking at those pictures and thinking back to years ago when I lived at my last house, I had a stray dog that looked about like that wander up to my house one day. I really should have put him out of his misery, but he seemed to be a fairly happy little fella so I let him live hoping that he was go back to where he came from. He wandered around my barn for a few days, then I think he killed the neighbor's cow and disappeared. So I'd say those are definately just dogs with some kinda disease.
  19. Ooooo.....That's another one of my favorites.
  20. I'm wondering what it would look like if you shot alot one day.

    My new EBT

I really need to get back on it. Funny you mention the '69 F100, because my first pickup was similar being a '68 F100 with a 360. I bought it from a junk yard for $300 and rebuilt everything that needed rebuilding on it. I use to hang out alot at another junk yard not far from my house, and the old guy that owned it pretty much gave me everything I needed. Any parts I came to get he would always just tell me to give him $1 for it so that I couldn't tell anyone he gave it to me. My dad put an excellent black paint job on it, and I completely redid the interior and engine compartment to where everything on the truck looked just about brand new. I too have always regretted getting rid of that truck, and still want to cry a little everytime I look at old pictures of it. Dad talked me into trading it for a newer model before I ever even turned 16 since I had someone that wanted it badly, and that newer model that I ended up with turned out to be the biggest POS ever produced in this country. Now I'm going to go out in my warehouse and kick myself in the a$$ again since the subject has come up.
  22. With all the immigration issues here lately I hate to admit that mine is a Mexican restaurant, but as far as here in this area goes I'm gonna have to say Poncho's. I've come to the conclusion that it's the only decent place to eat here in Columbia where you can get good food as well as good service. I generally tip well, and that's one of the few places here in town where the waiters and waitresses seem to appreciate such tips these days. Also the other restaurants seem to get new waiters and waitresses in so often that you never get the same one twice, which is something else that leads to bad service. Here in town, I've ended up with bad, even horrible service on several occasions from pretty much every other restaurant. Either that, or the food wasn't that good or made me sick. When picking a place to eat, my decision is based on: #1 service and #2 food. If the service isn't good, I never even notice whether the food is good or not. It should be noted that this is only based on my particular area, as I don't seem to see this as much in other areas that I frequent.
  23. Man that's a tough one. For me it's a struggle between Goodfellas or something along the lines of We Were Soldiers........I think unless I think of something else I'll go with We Were Soldiers for now. I've been known to watch that 3-4 times in one day before when the weather was too bad to get outside.

    My new EBT

Should be a great project. I love those old Ford trucks from the 70's. I really need to get a shop built so I can start working on those old things again. I've still got my 79 Bronco that I bought when I was 15, and it's badly in need of a restoration.
  25. Like I said, it pays to have connections in cases such as this. Anytime the metal is creased it makes it alot more trouble than just a simple dent. Hopefully he can get the others back to normal and get the one with the crease to where it's not very noticable. If not, get ya a bandaid sticker to go over it.
