Sig P250 has different grip sizes you can change (large, med, small). Also it is a DA not DA/SA    I would go with a compact vs. a sub-compact. You can conceal a compact and it can be a more stable shooter  at least for me. What I would recommend is going to the range and trying out different guns and seeing which one you shoot better and feels good in your hands.

Just went out to there website checking out ammo. They have 22lr solid point for the ridiculous price of $29.95 for a 50 round box. I use to buy from them but after seeing this they just lost a customer

 It does to me sound like you are a little paranoid, which is normal for most new gun carriers. It does get better with time. I was the same way when I first started carrying. I think the guy was just letting you pass or he would have done more then just wave you on.

The other problem is there are a lot of new gun owners now who really don't know the true value of ammo.When they pay 25 or 30 dollars for a box of 50 rounds of fmj 45 ammo they don't know they are getting ripped off. We as a community need to start educating them

Thank you for the offer on the ammo JWC. I just bought 2 bricks of ammo. It was a hard search took me 20 minutes and a call to AL.   If I come across any mag's I let you know. For now money is tight so I got the word from the boss. NO MORE SPENDING this month. The even honey I saved so much money didn't work. :surrender:     Joe

I would also recommend the Ruger SR9C. I owned one and it is Fairly light, shoots great, easy to conceal and never had one issue with it. I sold it here to a fellow TGO member. The only reason I sold it was I like Sig's better then any other handgun right now.

OK darn it, I just ordered two yes two sig 1911 in 22lr.   Now who is going to be nice enough to sell me some mini mag 22lr :)   I guess if I can't get any ammo they will make nice hammers!

Thank you all for the replies. I am not going to be buying a 22 pistol at this point until 22 ammo is readily available and I have get at least 2000 rounds to play with for a start. A 22 to me is a fun gun not something I need. I have other guns I can shoot and have ammo for, just a lot more expensive to shoot. When the 22 ammo is a available the pistol(s) I will be getting are sig 1911's.

The 22 I am looking at is a sig 1911 22. Most likely two (one for me and one for the wife). I know it is made by gsg but it comes with a life time warranty. Yes Larry, I know what you're going to say another sig big surprise ;)

No it is not my problem I don't buy to pay extra so I don't bid. Auctions are take what you get unless you put a minimum price that is the point, I use CC all the time why because I don't like carrying cash. You're right make me pay more because I don't trust online stores that charge more for CC purchases. Then justify it because they have to pay 3% for doing business sorry that is the cost of doing business period. When you go into another local store do you say to the store owner I am going to use my CC so let me pay more for the item I Don't think so. That is the point and I only see this with gun sales at least I don't remember any place else paying extra for using CC if I did I would find the item somewhere else

Why not give a discount for money order or cash, like one of the stores here locally does?
