  1. I was looking on Gun Broker yesterday at a few auction item handguns.   Most of these had a starting bid of .01 and were up to hundreds of dollars when I looked. In the comments area of the auction items it states there will be a 3% charge if using Credit Cards. IMHO this is bull. If you auction something off and it meets your reserve you got your min price. Now they want to charge someone extra because they don't know how to do the math?   All they needed to do is calc the min + 4% and that should be the min reserve.    I myself would never send cash, money order, etc. to an unknown, would you?
  2. I own a new sig 1911 and last Saturday I took it to the range. I put a 100 rounds of fmj though it and it ate them all. Then I put 16 rounds of defensive hollow points though again no problems. I also have a p226 m25, sig pro 2022 in 9mm eats all I feed them. Wife has two p238's no problems I am now looking at either a p229 or 239 in 9mm for another sig. IMHO you can't go wrong with a sig 1911 ;)
  3. Thanks for sharing. I am also thinking about ordering a couple
  4. How about 1000 rounds of 9mm for $800.00 That is just wrong
  5. I personally don't care about vandy as a whole. What is missing in today's society is GOD and his laws. We have taken him out of everything in this country IT NEEDS TO STOP unless we (meaning this country) wants to be another Sodom and Gomorrah
  6. Are you trying to say that everything on the internet isn't TRUE like I always say when I see things like this: YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID ;)
  7. Joe Bob has one I think give them a call if you want
  8. Sam, has worked on a couple of my handguns. Nice guy, good prices, and most importantly excellent work.

    Sig p238 SAS

  12. That is the one he has 3 available.
  13. I guy on guns America has 3 p225 p6 for sale as of 2 minutes ago
  14. I was at blueline guns in Gallatin today and they have the ruger 1911 in stock. Didn't look at the price because I wanted the sig 1911.

Well I did it again today. I am now the owner of a sig 1911 extreme. Good thing I have 500 rounds of 45 ammo coming in next week ;)
  17. I have a light stash for 10 more weeks of range shooting for both me and my wife. When it runs out we stop going to the range, until this maddness ends. We have enough defense ammo for home in 9MM, 380, and 45.
  18. This is also happening in the FOR SALE example: 223 ammo for sale NO PRICE and a few bumps to the top stating price drop with again no price. I am temped to reply with a $.50 offer for all. Since I don't have a use for that Ammo that is all it is worth to me!
  19. When we talk about indoor ranges or for that matter outdoor ranges why don't the owners control them most charge fees so they are making money. They need to hire range masters to enforce rules, help new people, etc
  20. At first when I read topic, I was thinking this has to be a joke.     All I can say is "YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID"
  21. Larry,   Didn't read note to self. I now have a Beretta px4 storm    If a 380 is in the picture the sig 238 is my wifes gun of choice and that is what she carries.
  22. I would agree take her to the range and let her try different guns. When she picks one she likes make a note of it. Then go back the next day or so and let her shoot it again just to make sure. Note to self: practice what you preach and save money
  23. I agree about gun sales. Now all we need is some ammo
