  1. Wouldn't it be illegal to sell to a NY resident even if they were out of state at a gun show or a local gun shop? Seriously if its illegal for them to own them then it should be illegal to sell them to anyone inside of NY?
  2. Walmart here in Tullahoma has a 2 box limit but they allow you to make separate purchases. i picked up 4 boxes of the 100 count in 9mm last night The one in Shelbyville has a 3 box limit but will let you buy 3 boxes per caliber so essentially you could walk out with 15 boxes of ammo in 5 different calipers. This is per day so again last night there I purchased 3 boxes of 45 auto in the 100 count at 11:50 and at 12:02 I got the remaining two boxes for a total of five boxes
  3. Very nice looking rifle. How does it shoot?
  4.      This is the one point I said Gas the man.... I'm sure like myself you have items in your home that can never be replaced. Items such as photos, documents and files to name a few.... Guess my point was there are many ways to had taken this man without destorying personal property and getting any other people hurt or shot.
  5. But why destroy someone elses property just because a fugitive is held up inside it? Really now who pays for there property and belongings? They had the man trapped and with no where to go. Wait him out, he will run out of ammo food and water at some point. They could had gased him anything but destroy another familes home. What if it were your home he was held up in? I bet any of you then would say hell no you aint burning my home to the ground.
  6.    I have nothing to hide and bought and paid for everything I own with many hours of working. This was a show and tell section and I understand your and the others concerns. I have the ammo and my firearms stored in a place safely away from home and ammo underground in a storm shelter I had built just for the purpose.      Again I'm ok with it coming down for the obvious reasons of course and thanks for those of concern.   So if anyone knows the owner here personally they can notify him to remove the thread and again thanks for the compliments and concerns folks.
  7. If you guys feel it needs to go away then by all means I won't get upset.
  8. I have items in home itemized and yes a security system is installed with cameras. Neighbors makes for the best security we keep eye on one another's places all time.
  9. Just bling is all it is and with lay out of the bars they actually don't beat on my arms
  10. Here are a couple I own. First an 07 Heritage Classic (Harley) Next is my 98 Honda Valkyrie
  11. Ha Thanks my pile is a progress of many years of reloading and buying when I got the opportunity to buy in bulk discounts. I assure I've not begun to come close to being a threat of the recent hoarding. I'm in same boat as rest of the country I can't find it either. I have four whole sellers I buy from and they can't get it either
  12. One purpose of pulling the ammo out and do a count and sort it into proper containers all of same ammo. I have put in a storm cellar that has a fire extinguishing system installed and the ammo is stored out and away from the house. Very costly expense yes but a piece of mind to my home and my belongings.
  13.    I shoot often so I'm constantly reloading and buying more ammo when I can get it now days. I saw this type thing coming yrs ago and thats when I began preparing for the worse. The goct may not get our guns but they sure can stop the flow of ammo to use them and when its dried up thats it, all we have then are clubs.
  14. Don't it now have to go to the house and be voted on? Then governor has to sign it into law?
  15. You're correct that is sitting on the floor and stacked up I'm not done stacking yet.
  16. Here are a couple ammo cans I just opened
  17. I've been storing and putting away ammo now for many yrs and I'm sorting thru it an making a more accurate count of what I have. Here's a small sample of over at minimum half million rnds I have on hand.
  18. Maybe that's why I'm not married now? Hmmmmm could be a connection to that.
  19. 300 yards beyond that they do get sketchy. Accuracy is accuracy regardless but using 52 grn bullets accuracy deminishes rapidly beyond 300 yards. Your best bet is a 6 BR using a 8 twist barrel and a 105 grain VLD. Unless you want to shoot light bullets then I'd say go wit hsomething like a .243 AI and 70 -80 grn bullets
  20. Nice find hope you got it worth the money
  21. Thanks Guys, I doubt that I'll ever shoot the Eclipse it's just too pretty if that makes any sense. So it'll be a safe queen but for sure the Tactical Pro will be my go to Carry
  22. Thought I'd share the collection of 1911's I have started. Top is a Custom Target II. The one on the left is an Eclipse Pro II and the one on the right is the Tactical Pro II. My next purchase will be either the compact CDP II or the Pro CDP II I havent decided as of yet. But this is a start for now.
  23.     Yes I own a few and for short range they are probably most accurate cartridge to date
