  1. I am planning to be there. It's just not soon enough.
  2. Good pick. I have granulate on Glocks. I usually sand down to how I like it, and works great. I've tried another brand but I did not like it. It cost more than others but it's worth to me. They always ship fast and good customer service.
  3. Thank you, Mr. Valentine. You guys have a good match.
  4. I have to be the sorry a$$ & stay home on this. My wife is sick & pale as smurf.
  5. Thank you. Good to hear from someone with a professional career in the past. I did Google "sheepfoot blade" and found some good explanation (just like you mentioned), history behind, and use.
  6. Do you have any specific reason(s) that you picked the resque/straight blade rather than curved blade?
  7. There will be at least 3 dry days before Saturday so I hope it won't be bad. It looks like I need lots of layers, 8 tops & 3 bottoms.
  8. Thank you everyone for all the inputs. I will go with plain though headache continues to pick one. I just need to go to stores & handle some.
  9. I didn't think about the size, and it is a good point. Thank you
  10. That's what I did many years ago when I got my first Gerber multi tool with full serrated blade..... I wondered how sharp it was, then it happened....
  11. Would you share some information on the Internet dealers if allowed here?
  12. Models I have in mind happened not using 154. Not a deal breaker. I narrowed down to two: Benchmade 940 Osborne Benchmade Contego (Benchmade Emissary was in but not on the table for now).
  13. Those are the things that I have been debating on. I never sharpened any serrated blades & I do not think I have the right sharpening tool(s) for. I was leaning toward to plain but I still don't know. Once decided, I need to pick a knife. Blade materials to consider, S30V, M390, M4...... It seems tougher than picking a hand gun.
  14. For EDC versatility, which do you prefer, plain or partially serrated? I have a Kershaw Leek plain blade for years, & really like but thinking about getting a new knife trying to decide which type of blade to go with. Not a big fan of a partially serrated blade but Ernest Emerson mentioned on a web that should always carry serrated. What's your opinions?
  15. Thanks everyone. I always learn something from. Mechanic_X, Thank you for sending out the scores so quick. I think I hit NT though.
  16. If you like your G30, I would keep it. I heard that they will discontinue Gen3 G20,21,29,& 30 (not SF frame that G30S uses).
