You probably know what I'm going to say, but I would suggest a dedicated uspsa belt and idpa belt. I'm running a 5.11 for idpa and black scorpion for uspsa. Tried to use the inner and outer by itself and just wasn't cutting it.

I'm cleaning brass with their large cement mixer and 30lbs of dry media. Obviously not what it was designed for, but will clean a full 5 gallon bucket of brass at a time. I don't know that it would ever hold up to cement, but 110lbs total material works great.

You are welcome anytime. We host Gallatin (Sumner Gun & Supply) and West Nashville (Royal Range) Matches. We also make the trip to ORSA on occasion, and I'll be more regular up there since I've taken up USPSA now as well.

  Hate that you'll miss it this week. Good news is hopefully you'll be back the following week for the bicycle stage...its gonna be interesting!

    The bad part about your ride home is the time change! 

Manchester (MTSC) is the closest I know of in your direction...They have fun and challenging matches and there is one this weekend. Maybe Jcoop will chime in, or send him a PM if its even remotely close for you.

Are you running the factory recoil spring? I ask because most 18lb springs will be difficult to overcome if try to seat the mag and drive the slide forward...on my single stack a 13 lb spring allows the momentum of the mag to overcome the slide stop letting the slide go into battery on mag change. Also could potentially need more shooting to break in. My go to IDPA gun took about 3k rounds before it began to reliably go into battery on mag change.
