  1. Completely guessing, but I'm gonna say it's becasue he did try to deliver - initially. From everything I've seen it was not intentionally set up as a scam or fraud. Thing is when you are robbing Peter to pay Paul sooner or later it gets called due. Up till the initial deal, Frank was good to go. Then he got leveraged and it snowballed from there. Instead of mitigating the situation he ran and hid and it only got worse. Not trying to defend the guy. This is just what I gathered from, reading countless threads and hearing what people close to him said - FWTW.:-\
  2. Heard a cougar scream (no jokes please;)) when I was a kid camping in Arkansas on the White River. It was pacing up and down on the opposite side of the river purring every so often till it let out it's scream. The most blood curdling sound I have ever heard to this day. I know they are over there, but haven't seen or heard of one over here....... till now.
  3. Of course if the masses of "people" from the Ford funeral home hadn't voted he would have won easily anyway. Your dedication to your town is commendable but they are night and day my friend. There is a reason Nashville is not the city referred to as the "Armpit of the South.";) BTW - if that wasn't the most sophomoric panel ever assembled, I don't know who could have topped them.
  4. A tight rear it sounds you must have. Much anger in you young padawan. Seriously though, the moral of the story is Kabooms can happen with reloads. Usually not becasue of the gun.
  5. Just a thought, but what about a cycling jersey. Most have three pockets in the back that would fit a small pistol just fine. You could even use a pocket holster if you wanted to as well with that setup. I'm thinking the under shirt is going to be a real pain if you swing your arms at all and everything else requires strapping something to places that are uncomfortable and unnatural when running. Something like this for example could work great. You can also get them pretty cheap if you shop. http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/SubCategory_10053_10052_200478_-1_200275_200338
  6. I heard at one of the TGO get togethers there was a big, naked, drunk guy running around. Just sayin'.......
  7. I don't personally see a reason to jump on bteague2 about Frank. Frank had a lot of friends, that many of us know and respect, that he let hang out to dry. Doesn't make them Frank or Frank's problems and I can't blame them for wanting to make sure the ship is even keeled. That's what friends do. That being said, if these guys making threats would just jump on board with the legal processes all ready in play, I can almost guarantee they will get back more than by showing up at his door and flexing their angry muscles. Maybe not as much satisfaction, but more of what matters.
  8. Try dealextreme.com. I got a some sweet cree led flashlights from them for dirt cheap. You can get the filters to go on them as well. Shipping is a little long since they come direct from the East factories, but I have been more than pleased with the ones I have. This is the latest one I got and it has been excellent. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/firearm-accessories/26042-tactical-flashlight-source.html#post349599

    MSAR 7.62x39

Yeah but have you seen one available or seen one period? That's kinda my point. It was one of the original calibers to be released but they have yet to see the light of day to my knowledge. IMO the 6.8 is perfect for this kind of setup.

    MSAR 7.62x39

the 5.56 ran anywhere from 1600-2100 depending in the sights ect. Curious they would release a x39 and still not have the 6.8 available. Is the x39 just in the works or out for sale?
  11. ASP in Joelton usually have some Enfields and Mosins. They had a couple Garands the other day.
  12. What's sad is that you either quoted that from memory or went and looked it up to post in this thread!
  13. You know Einstein isn't the best source for marriage advice.
  14. Even their website has them at $659-$699. If I were going that route, I would get a Saiga and have it converted out to a for $50 less.
  15. I would love to do this! Anyone have a sidecar I can tag along in?
  16. Try Centerfiresystems.com you can get Bulgy's for under $600 and Romanian's for $359. A Lancaster at $940 is Obama mania pricing. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/ak_firearms.aspx
  17. I never specified what "things" meant!
  18. You're 21! What do you think is a long time!? I've been married 9 years, dated (same woman) for 2, have 4 kids (just found out about the 4th), and it seems like we're still dating sometimes!
  19. Fesslers/Murfeesboro rd area is THE place in Nashville to get "things".
  20. So is it going to be high noon outside the saloon or what?
  21. I'm just glad there's never been an accidental or negligent discharge of a revolver!
  22. For those who say they want to see some proof of this happening: What about the numerous times it has happened to LE, correctional officers, etc. Weapon retention is a big thing taught to these professionals for a very good reason.
  23. Hey! Who's this Verbal guy!

    "Assault Rifle"

Technically the only gun that could be called an AR was the Armalite AR-15. They owned the copyright to the name. Later they sold it to Colt. However, it has become synonymous with the design and so all clones are refereed to as AR's . Similar thing to the AK "Automatic Kalashnikov."
  25. They got it right IMO. Don't want to live anywhere near Fesslers Ln BTW.
