  1. Not other than dry firing it. My first XD I had Springer do the trigger job on my second I did the Powder River Striker safety job. I highly recommend it for price and ease. http://www.powderriverprecision.com/index.php?p=3&pic_id=82
  2. Tungsten knows what he is looking for, but from every report I've seen the trigger on the M&P is described as a "close to 1911 as a striker fired trigger can be". That being said there are several gunsmith's offering trigger jobs as well as DIY instructions from one of them. While I'm no expert I have had two XD's and a G19 all with trigger jobs. The M&P, IMO, was much better OTB than any of them. I can only imagine it being even better with a trigger job. http://www.burwellgunsmithing.com/index.htm http://bowietacticalconcepts.com/mandpprices.html http://www.burwellgunsmithing.com/misc/M&Ptriggerjob.pdf
  3. I kinda thought of it the opposite way. To me it was much better than the Glock. Not near as mushy.
  4. Barrel is pretty straight forward, 18", however overall length can not be under 26" IIRC.
  5. WWTC? BTW what made you switch from the two 9mm M&P's you had to the .40?

    How bout something like this!
  7. Nope, there out of stock now!

    12g Christmas!

I would guess so. I couldn't find any of the H&R/NEF/Hawk stuff that is usually out there, which I know are interchangeable, for under $300! These, from what few reports are out, seem to be superior in fit and finish than the Chicom makers. I did find some Mossberg's out there, but their prices seem to have jumped with everything else.

    12g Christmas!

I've been needing a good inexpensive home defense gun and just found one of these Charles Daly Tactical 12g to fill the bill. From what I can find they are made in the Stoeger/Beretta factory in Turkey. Nice cheap home defense gun. Got it for $250 OTD NIB! when I pick it up next week I'll let ya'll know how it shoots.
  10. This? I've read about the Serbu's and aside from the cool factor, I don't get it. 2 shots and $705? i would personally get something more usable. Of course of any one gets one, let me know. I'd sure like to shoot the thing! http://serbu.com/top/superShorty.php

    Totally Tacticool

Hang out in front og the Governor's Club on the weekends and you will see a few Ferrari's and some other exotics and then cruise over to Franklin towards Old Hillsboro and Alan may be tooling around in one of his cars. In his garage were 3 '64 Aston Martin's (James bond car), a few Bentley's various years, Ford GT (Lamborginish), a very early Rolls Phantom? the kind the Nazi's tooled around in with the straight 12's - except before the Nazi's, and an assortment of other Bronco's, Harley's, Mustangs, etc. He even has his own gas pumps out side.
  12. If you don't mind it not being "concealed" what not use one of these. You could easily attach the "drop" to the shoulder strap and the lateral straps across your chest straps. It would hang in a perfect, quick position and be pretty stable without adding weight. Just a thought and they're cheap. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/LH-BL.asp
  13. Yep, like a full auto m9/11!
  14. Depends on clothing and situation. I just ordered a DM Bullard dual carry so I can use the same holster either way. I would've really liked a K&D Thunderbird (dual carry) but can't wait 16 weeks! But man they are worth it! DM Bullard Dual Carry K&D Thunderbird
  15. Part of it is definitely me "pushing". I may still need to drift the rear a little. I was aiming dead center both head and center mass. That being said, i have hardly ever missed right, with any gun!
  16. Hey, Tungsten - I was thinking of sending it to him for a trigger job. Seems like the consensus is that it is as close to a 1911 trigger as a striker fired can get. Is that not your experience?
  17. Come on guys, it's a Santa ghillie suit!
  18. I also have put the G27 on all the AK's and AR's I have had. I love them. I had the CBS stock on my first AR build and like it very much.
  19. Ahhh, the man purse! All joking aside I think it is a great idea and have been eying them for awhile. You will have to tolerate a little ribbing of course!
  20. It is and has already been started in another thread. GFA is a great new addition. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13962&highlight=guns+america
  21. It goes out tomorrow for the mags!
  22. Naw, I got some work to do. If you notice almost everything is center left. I tend to "push". Not good just something I'm slowly working out. The large grips helped me to not get so far around the grip and it helped a lot.
  23. Maybe with the TS they can use a solid trigger instead of the hinged one.
  24. Pretty well established fact in history circles. That being said, most "scholars" hold FDR in a god status and tend to gloss over this "small" issue.

Even thought that's probably the 1k time its been posted, it makes me sick every time I see that full auto AK be wasted.
