    Good Book

Just finished reading Principled Action, Lessons from the Origins of the American Republic by James Best. Very good book giving a history of how our country's founding fathers created a country out of a colony and wrote the Constitution and Bill of Rights. He points out how the country started drifting away from strict constitutional law with FDRs Supreme Court and the drift has continued. It was published in 2013. I was first exposed to James Best's fiction writing, which I liked and just ran across this one because I was tracking his books on Amazon.
  15. Here is a table full of Lugers, spare magazines, and bayonets. Now that would be a gun show table.
  16. Actually saw one of these at a gun show today. Show was not so good for finding anything I wanted to buy but several dealers had some interesting WW-2 guns including a real Liberator pistol, never saw one in person.
  17. But Doc you said to give them their shots.
  18. I think in my class there was only one person that didn't do 100% and he was a relatively new shooter using a loaner gun from the club putting on the class and got a 96 or 98. Someone asked the instructor what the average score was and he said 95+. I didn't mag dump but I was done and mag reloaded for the next round before everyone was finished shooting. Most of us used .22s so we didn't waste expensive ammo.
