  1. You could always get a 23 and then get a 9mm barrel and mags and you will have the best of both worlds. Take the .40 barrel out and put the 9mm one in its that easy.
  2. Anybody going to the Alahambra Shiner's show this weekend? I think I'm going Saturday morning to browse won't be buying unless my tax return comes in. If anyone wants to meet up I would like to put some names to faces. Also there is another upcoming show Feb. 27th and 28th at the National Guard Armory on Holtzclaw not sure If I will go to this one just never impresses me.
  3. One thing reading through this thread is people in Memphis have a sense of humor. My mom lived in Memphis in the 70's and taught at Whitehaven Elementary. She had alot of interesting students and parents. The one story she tells is of the girl she had in her class named Marijuana and no I'm not kidding. Only in Memphis haha.
  4. Good choice I bet you will enjoy it!

I looked around seems like a good price. $3500 seems about the going asking price cheapest ad I found was $2750. I think its a fair price but I am by no means an expert.
  6. haha good one
  7. good one
  8. Is that a can Ghooge2008?
  9. I've examined a Smith and Wesson 15-22 at a local shop and it would definitely be my choice, they are making them now with flash hider's. I'd rather get one of those than one without a threaded barrel but thats just me.
  10. It looks like an M38 stock to me but hard to tell. I had a 91/59 I got from another board member here and I have to say it was beautiful! nice blueing, good bore, M44 stock with nice blonde wood wish I had that one back. I may jump back on the Mosin craze again sooner or later since the ammo is so dirt cheap. I'm 6'1 150 and they really beat on my shoulder though.
  11. Have you heard the Muzzle blast on those bad boy's they SOUND off! I'd much rather have the Scout too bad no one wants to put them on sale.
  12. Good first choice.
  13. Exactly, sometimes you have to live with your choices in life. He may be a great guy but the Army still will give him quite a hassle for that one failed drug test. Now that the economy is worse recruiting numbers have went way up. I remember back in 2005/2006 they were hurting for people.
  14. Its an Oval:D
  15. I was hoping a Dale Jr. would pull it off personally. Yeah I know everyone is a Dale Jr. fan yada yada he started racing when I was about 10 or 11 and I've always pulled for him. Jamie Mcmurray is fine in my book also rather him win than the Bif.
  16. Yeah, Sportsman's Warehouse always had WWB in .45GAP and .357sig during the shortage. I personally couldn't justify owning either caliber. Just not common/popular enough for my blood.
  17. Here is my big problem with Sigs for the price of a 220 you can have a real nice 1911. I also don't like the fact that you only get 8 rounds in that big of a grip. I know and formely worked with guys that loved Sigs thought they were some of the best pistols made. But we all agreed they are way overpriced, guess thats just our opinions though.
  18. Very nice collection there is a few real expensive toys in those pictures.
  19. Actually I'd go down and talk with them for sure. They have to have a call record I would think I also think if you talked to him in person you could give/clarify more details. If you felt you were treated wrongly then you should pursue talking to the Capt.
  20. The National Guard is his best bet honestly they are the least picky out of all branches of service.
  21. I'd suggest avoiding it, they don't have the best reputation out there. I'd go for a Ruger Single Six with interchangeable cylinder's. High quality and great warranty if anything goes wrong which I highly doubt.
  22. Checked out his website he has alot of good deals
  23. Eh, those crazy nuts up in Dayton. I think its quite funny also about the hearing impaired part. What does hearing have to do with an internet forum?
  24. Pitbull/Boxer Mix, Sampson I'll try to get a picture of him posted tomorrow. He's a big baby but the Comcast man had to come over the other day and his big baby personality totally changed into I need a lunchtime snack. Once I came out there and showed him he was alright to be in the house Sampson had a new best friend. I'm glad to know he has that very protective side of him though as I live with my Mom and little brother. I'm not home alot, so I trust Sampson to hold down the fort while I'm gone. He totally changed my Mom's anti Pitbull opinion.
  25. :rofl:haha I bet this was his face when he saw her :D
