Alright, got it disassembled and cleaned all the shipping oil off of it how much Rem Oil should I apply back on it and where, this is my first new shotgun and my old one I never cleaned. Thanks again

Hi, I just purchased a Remington 870HD today and I am Having trouble getting the Magazine Tube Coupling to come off. Any suggestions? I have strained to try to get it to come off and its not even showing a sign of budging. Is there anyone in the Chattanooga area willing to look at it for me and see if I am missing something. I have read and reread the manual and its not helping a darn bit. This is my first 870 and I am not familiar with takedown of them I had a Mossberg before which I never had disassembled. well I called the guy in Mt. Juliet and he said he's had about 50 calls for that Marlin, so some lucky guy got a like new Model 39A for $200 bucks what a steal.

Ok, here is my problem I have neither a .22 rifle or 12 gauge shotgun and can only have one till the end of the year. I have saved up the money for a Remington 870 express 18inch barrel extended magazine tube. Then today I found a smoking deal on a Marlin Model 39A and would really like to have it also, the marlin would leave around one hundred dollars in my pocket and the 870 would pretty much take up my current gun savings. I don't know which one I want so I need some advice, opinions, etc. I am leaning towards the 39A because I can get range time in with it, whereas the shotgun is not allowed at the range. I believe I could better my marksmanship with the .22 also but have had my heart set on this shotgun for so long. Sorry about the long post just felt I had to state the situation. Thanks for all the help.

I work right by Rock City and Ruby Falls they are both worth the trip and Point Park is interesting to me also.
