It is good to hear an inside perspective. So what should the life a nuclear plant be?

It is a US design, still crappy. The designs and standards have evolved so much it is just stupid that we have not kept pace with building modern, safe plants while retiring these older plants.

Interesting that less than 100 miles away is the same crappy design as the Japanese plants.

Tim I remember seeing a bullet box sitting on the safe area table not sure if anyone picked it up.

Looks like a perfect day for shooting tomorrow

The upcoming match at Music City Tactical Shooters is not one of our typical IDPA matches. It is purposely a high round count non IDPA match. An IDPA stage can only be 18 rounds max, so your average match is 100 rounds or less. Hope this helps!

Yes we start about 9 AM. Shooters that have not shot IDPA or USPSA before will need to be early (about 8 AM) to get signed in and participate in a safety brief. We get to the range about 7 to get rolling on setup.

45 in my opinion is too expensive to shoot in any quantity without loading your own ammo. I shoot enough that I load 9mm, my reasons for reloading are: low power factor cost availability (don't want to rely on walmart for ammo)

As an IDPA affliated club we must hold six IDPA matches per year. This isn't one of them We mix it up pretty good with GSSF, 3 Gun, Run N Gun, Rifle, and IDPA

These days about the only thing that I shoot jacketed bullets thru is my AR-15. I try not to go extended periods with out cleaning but if I do I will use Shooters Choice with a brush and patches to get after the copper. I then follow with my Kroil/Hoppes mix to get that other solvent out of the bore.

Ed's Red' Bore Cleaner I use a 75/25 mix of Kroil and Hoppes. I keep an olive jar full and drop barrels and bolts in it to soak while I clean the rest of the firearm.
