The safety of shooting steel is related to the condition of the targets. If they are overly pitted or cupped they are much more likely to spit back.

Converted my Michigan CPL to a TN HCP $50, no class, no prints and back in 50 days pretty impressive.

I run with a bull barrel without too much issue Pesky poppers again? Middle aged eyes and 1x optics suck for that.
