  1. Bob, Don't let a few snow flakes or rain drops keep you away.
  2. If you are married, you are toast.
  3. Soo Eee Seriously come out and join us, no snow in the forecast!
  4. Here is my setup
  5. Glad we could be of help, FYI the website will have a fresh modern look shortly.
  6. We would be happy to have you at Music City Tactical Shooters - IDPA Nashville we shoot every 1st and 3rd saturday morning. Any questions let me know.
  7. I pretty much gave up on GT when it turned in a contributer vs non-contributer clique environment.
  8. I wouldn't futz around trying to salvage a few pieces of used brass, we are talking about a nickle. I visually sort my 9mm brass to cull .380 and mak from it as well as a few junk headstamps.
  9. Chip, Glad you could make it out, always good to get new competitors to the range.
  10. Hello Shooters! Just a reminder we have a match this coming saturday in Dickson. 4 pistol stages with a shotgun side match. 60 rounds pistol, 12 shot, 4 slugs Greg Bell http://twitter.com/mctsclub http://mctsclub.com
  11. Welcome from a fellow refuge Check out Gallatin Gun Club and get your name on their wait list for membership
  12. Get one of these instead, just drill a hole no tapping req'd. I had one similar on an Olympic alum free float tube. No worries stripping threads this way. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=411179
  13. Yes it would help. Another thing that helps is to run a special RX for your shooting glasses. It is called monovision, have your dominate eye set for crisp clear focus at the front sight and your other eye set for infinity. This has made a huge difference for a lot of competition pistol shooters. Some eye docs are cool with bringing in gun to work this out, if yours isn't measure the distance from your eye to the front sight and bring in a sheet of paper with a sight post drawn on it. I use Rudy Project glasses with an RX insert behind the lenses. This is one option there are others as well.
  14. Music City Tactical Shooters - IDPA Nashville Gallatin Gun Club Web Site NTPS Home Page These clubs usually do at least one steel match a year.
  15. http://idpa.com/Documents/IDPARuleBook2005.pdf Page 73 18 wide x 30 tall Most targets are engaged from 5-15 yds, we push distance occasionally but it isn't common in IDPA
  16. Let me add that I started shooting in 03 and it took me a season to be at all competitive in my classification.
  17. I'm the Match Director for Music City Tactical we have a match this Sat in Dickson. It would be my pleasure to have you come and shoot with us. We hold special range briefings for brand new shooters to go over commands and safety. If you can follow basic range commands and follow safety procedures you will be welcome at any range.
  18. Sevigny competition fiber front for me, or Dawson are by far the most popular.
  19. Your drive should be disk 0 mounted on c: The laptop drive should be drive 1, it may not be mounted. Right click on it and assign a drive letter. It will then show in windows explorer. Good Luck!
  20. What primers are you guys finding in stock @ Champion's ?
  21. flyfishooltewah, Not had a bit of trouble with it but I'd probably buy the Enos one unless the RCBS went on sale.
  22. Everyone We had a great little match today in the cold. Thank you to all who came early and helped with some props and the stage setup it is always very much appreciated. Also thanks for helping tear down as well. Scores emailed and will be posted to the web soon Greg Bell
  23. With eye and ear protection we would be happy to have you out. But if you come please do bring your gear. IDPA stages are pretty basic with a few range safety rules and commands. You will regret not being ready to shoot if you come, plus first time shooters with us only pay $5.
  24. All pretty friendly states, I make that trip all the time. I got busted in Indiana speeding by a state trooper. I had a bunch of guns in the car and he couldn't have cared.
