    I carry in church all of the time. Before I joined the church I asked the pastor who stated that I'd be joining several others who already carry. I wouldn't have joined the church had he said no.

    How one reacts to such a thing would be dependent upon their personality I suppose. I read the article from his perspective, and didn't like what I read.EDIT: Granted, that was years ago, but the impression has stuck with me.

    Coming from a man that's been married for over 34 years, when a "man" divorces his wife after she's nursed him through cancer, (testicular, I believe), and as he's become a success, I have no respect for such a "man" in my book. Sorry if that offends someone...other than him.

    Agreed, but 23 years is a lot better than what could have happened with the "I'm nuts!" defense. I hope there's not parole eligibility. That'd make him 70 when he get out.

    Well, he states that it's symbolic since he's not remaining long in office, so I don't think it's something to get excited about.
