  1. Chris Johnson got his payday. Now all he has to do is preserve what's left of his body for retirement. I'm sure that we've all seen this before, so no surprises here.
  2. It's really sad to see a failed politician that's as dumb as a rock trying to stay relevant.
  3. No matter how hard I try I just can't bring myself go give a crap!
  4. "But honey! It was on sale!" That's what I hear all of the time. Fortunately, I don't need to resort to the measures the OP did.
  5. It seems that Mr. Tingles thought Obama lost: http://www.therightsphere.com/2012/10/msnbcs-chris-matthews-has-epic-meltdown-over-obamas-beatdown/ My favorite line was Romney telling Oblamo, to paraphrase, that repeating a lie over & over did not make it true.
  6. IMHO, the fundamental problem with a LASER "sight" is that your focus is taken away from the object that you are trying to hold steady to an object ___ feet away from you. I bought one because of the presbyopia of advancing age, and I couldn't hold it on target at all. I was better off not being able to align the sights and doing my best to sight down the top of the slide.
  7. Yep! The kid could have been playing a prank in his mind.
  8. When I was a LEO from 1988 to 1993, the qualification was pretty simple. We qualified once a year. The course was simply drawing and firing on a silhouette target from the standing position at various yardages with about 15 yards being the max. 50 rounds total. Totally pathetic! Red Handled Gun was much better training, but that was designed for training to react; not shooting proficiency. EDIT: Also, most of the officers didn't shoot at all between annual qualifications. I had a female sergeant say to me, "If they want me to practice then they'd better give me the ammo to do it with!"
  9. Good video DaddyO. Thanks for posting.
  10. Marines have responsibility for guarding embassies, so my question is, where were they?
  11. As a former Marine I'll say that in a situation such as this where you are surrounded with no way out, your choice is to either fight like the meanest SOB in the valley and stand a chance of coming out alive, or give up and suffer dishonor, torture, and then death. Personally, I would choose to fight like the meanest SOB in the valley. I may die, but I'm going to take out far more of them before I go. That is the legacy of the Marines. Would it have prevented the Ambassador's death? Perhaps not, but the score certainly wouldn't be 0 to 4 ration.
  12. Here's an effect as of the first of the year: My employer informed me that my deductible will be raised and my coverage reduced by 10% citing Obamacare. Can wait to see what the premium will cost!
  13. Just regurgitating what the pollster analyst of FOX said and wishful that he's correct.
  14. Granted: however, they historically do not turn-out even for Onumbnuts.
  15. I didn't say that you did, and I'll leave it at that, Robert. I'm sure you are right about BHO, but far more people would be fighting mad over infringement of their 2nd than they are over having to buy insurance.
  16. As a former LEO I'm floored by this story: however, I don't see her winning a suit against the department. If the complainant swears by what he/she saw they saw then it's not your place to doubt it; it's for the court to decide. That being said, I would have told the complainant that I'll have a talk with the subject, and if that isnt good enough I'd direct them to the prosecuting attorney citing officer descretion. Whatever is this world coming to?
  17. You must admit that no one saw that one coming: therefore, it's a fluke. Adding someone that you know is liberal is staking the deck in your favor. IMHO, making people pay for insurance does not rank up there with declaring the 2nd null and void.
  18. To your point FOX had their pollster expert on that said that Gallup projects a much higher turn-out of black voters then has EVER turned-out for an election. That's stacking the odds I'd say. Also, after the 47% remark there has been a lot of criticism over Romney's campaign staff. Perhaps this fellow is simply the sacrificial lamb?
  19. I don't think O-numbnuts could do too much unless the Dums win the house majority too. Executive orders can't sign away the constitution until the Dums get a majority in the SC. I think trying to do so would invite a civil war rather quickly.
  20. "Zimmerman says Martin had been on top of him, slamming his head against the ground and smothering his mouth and nose with his hand and arm when he grabbed his gun from a holster on his waist before Martin could get it." I don't even know why this is reported since the absence of DNA substatiates what Zimmerman stated to have happened.
  21. “there are 47 percent who are with him (Obama), who are dependent upon the government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to take care of them.†I read it as being in three parts; not that he meant the total 47% met all three things. There are people in the 47% who are dependant upon the government. There are people in the 47% who believe that they are victims. There are people in the 47% that believe the government has a responsibility to take care of them. That kind of defines the left, doesn't it?
