Yeah, I am thinking about the weight when carrying at the 4:00/4:30 position.   I am just thinking getting in and out of a seat over time might hurt the frame.

Those that carry IWB, do you have any concerns with mechanical stress when you sit in your car seat?  I am specifically wondering about Glocks but any feedback is helpful.  Also please state how long you have been sitting with you gun holstered IWB.

I have a Sig P226, but I am thinking I may want something a little less bulky for edc.  I like how it feels in my hands but again I think it may be a tad too big for edc.  What would you guys recommend for an edc for guys with larger hands?

I'm thinking along the lines of you have to shoot someone but for whatever reason the law thinks you did something wrong.  For people who carry, is there some type of insurance you can buy to cover your legal expenses if needed?

I need 500 rounds of .223 or 5.56 55 grain ammo (probably .223 because it's cheaper).  Is remanufactured ammo ok?  Anyone got some leads on a deal?

What exactly is a 'carbine'?

    This has turned into a comparison thread and that is fine.  I thought I wanted a shotgun first, but now I'm not so sure.  Besides the penetration issue at relatively close range from what I have seen in videos a shotgun blast doesn't really spread much either.  I have had two firearms instructors (both cops btw) that recommend shotguns for HD.  I am going to buy an AR regardless but now I am debating whether I should even get a shotgun at all.  All the info seems I hear/see seems all over the place.
