I’d like to hear from some of the LEOs on this site about this. IMO, the probable cause was they can’t tell one blue foreign car from another. If they are going to make a “stopâ€, they should light you up. When they see you open your garage door they should have turned on the blues and ID’d themselves on your property. NOW, if this happened to me and the wife (harley309), we would not pull into the driveway, we’d keep going and call 911 to report suspicious vehicles following us. (IMPORTANT MESSAGE HERE….DON’T STOP AT YOUR HOUSE) Now, a week later, I think it’s time for a face to face, very politely and respectfully, with a road patrol supervisor. Explain the situation and your concerns about the safety of your family, your fears of possibly being carjacked and that you legally carry. There was certainly the possibility of you drawing down on them and that would have been very ugly and your wife might have become your widow. If she can turn on the tears (and I know this from personal experience), take her with you. Please follow up with this and let us know what happens.

Sorry the wife and I didn't make it. We were back and forth to Coker Creek the 3 days before and just sat home with some adult beverages on Sunday. We have 3 new pistols we need to try out and faces to put with names. Next time, positively maybe, hope so.

Glen, Thank your son for what he does for us all. My boy, a marine, was in Bahain before the SHTF. We worried about him every day and he came home safe. He's now a cop in S.Fl. We still worry about him. He was only out of the academy a short time and got into a gun fight. He won thank god. Hope to meet you some day. Dick

Gunsablazin, Thanks for the invitation. Thats where we qualified for our hcps. It's a nice facility and pretty close for us. We're going to the Knoxville show Sat. and volunteered to help my son install his kitchen cabinets next Fri. and Sat., but we're going to try to get to PC Sun. the 16th.

My name is Dick, I'm a retired firefighter/paramedic from S. Fl. and now live east of Cleveland, Tn. My wife and I belong to NRA, have our HCP and try to get up to Spring Creek in Polk County to shoot. I carry a BDA 380 and my wife, Ellen, carries a Kel Tec P3AT. I picked up the new addition today, a Smith 5906. It feels good in the hand and can't wait to put some rounds through it. It's been a good day!! :)
