I had well water my whole life and if you get a good well, you will never want city water. The funny thing about wells up north and here is up in the northern mountains where I'm from, the water table strictly flows in veins. Anyone drilling a new well without it being dowsed (located) first is a fool with more money than brains. Down here I dowsed my spot and put a stake in the exact spot. The old guy that drilled it scoffed at drilling on a dowzers find and said it was just as likely to find a coal patch than water. Here on the plateau, the lime stone thats everywhere is so fractured, that the driller would just pick any ol depression where there's a water run off. I watched more than a few wells being drilled in the north and thats the last place a driller would drill only if the dowsing rods said no water in the area. We had Donald Wood (nationaly renouned) dowse a couple wells and I had the chance to pick his brain on how he finds out things like How Deep, How many GPM and what quality the water is going to be? He's dead now from old age but I got some jewels from him that day.... God bless him.

Many years ago ( pre internet ) I ran across a recipe for a Jamaican version of ox tail soup and at the time couldn't find any tail. I was on base today shopping at the commissary and they had some so I decided to finally try the soup recipe.....WRONG !!!! $7.50 per pound for cut up pieces of a cow's tail !!! and I would need 2 1/2 - 3 pounds to make the soup. I don't care how good it's supposed to be, there's no way I'm going to spend that much money for any soup.

If you have a Costco in your area, check theirs out. Same hearing aids as elsewhere but quite a bit cheaper. There's other perks too, but they would have to explain all of that to you.

Used it all the time before switching to wet tumbling and it worked great. I always deprimed before cleaning and unlike the regular media, it didn't clog the primer hole.

I was going to file my taxes using one of the free electronic filing services recommended by the IRS but have a couple of questions. Has anyone used them before, and which one, and how do you sign an electronic tax form ?

The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.” We are experiencing a growing problem: criminals are buying kits containing nearly all of the components and directions for finishing a firearm within as little as 30 minutes and using these firearms to commit crimes. When these firearms turn up at crime scenes, they often cannot be traced by law enforcement due to the lack of a serial number. The Justice Department will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of these firearms.

As someone on another forum pointed out, depending on how vaguely this is written it could cover a lot more than appears in the statement.
They are going to have to make sure the the issue of muzzleloaders not being considered a firearm is addressed. I recently purchased a Pennsylvania long rifle kit from Dixie gun works that came fully assembled except for a couple of small items not attached. It could probably be fired straight out of the box. Most of the handgun kits from Dixie are the same.
The only reason I'm bringing this up is because of Cabela's new policy (from what I've heard) is that the same paperwork & background check has to be done for black powder guns as cartridge guns. This could be the top of another slippery slope.
