  1. For reference, my G17 on top of my TacOps1911 Traditional. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I'd have to agree with the above. We are, as a group, always complaining about the cost of certain indoor ranges, but I have yet to find the clean, big, modern, safe and CHEAP ranges everyone seems to be waiting for. I always liked On Target. It used to me my go to indoor range before I bought a membership at Everything Weapons....5 min from my house. Totally worth it to me since I shoot 2-3 times a week. My new Glock 43

Thanks for the review. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I hear you....I love the way my TacOps shoots. It's the gun I bring when I want to impress people at the range. ;) But my Glock will drill the X on a standard silhouette out to 25 yards, I double my round count and my back thanks me at the end of the day. To each his own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5.   Wait....hammer down on a live round?  Hmmm....can't say I've ever run into anyone doing that in my 30 years in the shooting world.
  6.   Given it's size, I found it unpleasant to shoot.  Far from being a "range toy", I absolutely refuse to jam some gun in my pocket unless I've shot it a LOT.  I don't want to "stay familiar" with a firearm that I carry to defend my life....I want to have absolute confidence in it and my ability to carry and shoot it well.  The P938 just wasn't that gun for me.  I found my finiky with range loads and a bit of a handful with full power loads.  I didn't get more than 50 rounds out of it at a time before I started getting flinchy and worn out.     Honestly, it made me realize that I'm willing to sacrifice concealability for confidence.
  7. And, honestly, the law abiding citizens of Memphis need to start fighting back.
  8. I left that city in 1999.....and I've never regretted that decision.
  9.   At $10 less per mag, it's pretty easy to figure out the motivation of most buyers.     I got a couple of these earlier this week.  I put my first 100 rounds through one on monday night.  Springs are very tight, and the last two rounds required the use of a mag loading tool (and I never have to use a mag loading tool).  The ONLY issue I had is the first round in a fully loaded mag nose-dived into the feed ramp and wouldn't fully go into battery when I used the slide stop lever.  They never failed to work using a proper two handed charging technique.
  10. Every time I start to consider carrying my 1911s, I just pull out my G19, lay it on top of the 1911, count the rounds, then put the 1911 back in the safe.
  11. I'd love to know who did this work for you. It looks very well done.
  12. I tried the P938 for about two years.....for a pocket gun it was accurate, but I honestly hated shooting the thing, and I just can't bring myself to carry anything I don't shoot regularly.
  13.   Gotta ask....how does one end up with a firearm in "half-cocked" position?  Wouldn't you have to manually put it in this position by thumb-cocking it?
  14. Unfortunately, the Kahr has one of the worst triggers on the market, IMHO. I've tried to like them in the past, but they never get any better.
