  1. So happy to hear this GS. I wouldn't sweat the rebuild kit. Pull it apart , mark it and shelf it. You may need it one day and it will be money well spent. Ask me how I know lol.
  2. I know of at least 2 that folded up around here due to lack of business vs other chains. Use to be a lot better pie 30 years ago
  3. Good move on purchasing an oem model. That may cure the whole issue. Yep, rich was my guess too.
  4. I think that carb is a knock off brother. I agree oem are usually stamped somewhere. So the cheap Amazon carb idled fine but would bog under a load ? Did you adjust on it at all before moving on ? Edited to add: sounds like the mixture is still "off" in the video. Like its still not getting a good balance.
  5. RIP to a legend !
  6. You're looking to buy a 2007 authentic Marlin per the serial number you've posted. This serial number was stamped into the top of the tang yes ? The JM isn't always stamped in any particular direction but almost always near where the barrel enters the receiver. Sounds like you're about to add an awesome caliber lever action to the collection
  7. If you don't care @Grand Torino when you get time could you list a length for each knife ? Or a rough figure. Assuming you do anymore that would definitely help me in releasing my cash for a set
  8. Dang these are tempting GT. There's not a day that goes by where I don't use a kitchen knife. What is the suggested method for keeping a sharp edge and what angle are they ground on ? I use a commercial kitchen sharpener that does a double bevel edge.
