Spencer double barrel 12 gauge 32" Damascus barrels Build date is somewhere between 1884-1892 Belgium mfg Wear and patina abound For me if I had a fireplace or owned a Cracker Barrel this is THE piece to hang on the wall. $SPM Pics later after I re-dig it out. I'm in east tn but shipping it/ meeting elsewhere might be arranged.

Hope you got deep pockets if you're coming east of Knoxville. Jefferson,Cocke,Grainger,Sevier,Greene,etc . Ridiculously inflated values are the new norm.

Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. I have the 1st rifle I ever shot. But I had to purchase my grandfathers entire collection from the "estate" to get it. 100% worth it

Doubt we will ever know the truth but I suspect it's more than questionable gun activity

Sounds like your issue has more to do with pricing than believing someone's weapon has/hasn't been fired. To the latter there's a lot of good people on TGO and when I deal with someone I take them at their word. If they lie then they run the risk of being outed at the point we make the deal. Same for me if im the seller. To the former you're going to have to learn to look laugh and move on.

I think of that Ruger every time I think of Jeff lol. Didn't get to shoot it but got to hold it if its the same one you're talking about. IIRC he was working on a 458 socom which would have been a "newish" AR at the time. Wish I could have hauled the entire "build room" back to my place lmao.
