I have never known a person who experienced an issue with the P320 firing on its own. I currently own a P320 and have had a few in the past that I used in my early days of USPSA completion. I have NEVER had a firing misfunction.

I recently purchased the Shadow 2 Compact and had it Cajanized. A real sweet firearm. As I understand it, the Carry model added a firing pin block to enhance it for safe carry.

I currently own a P320 compact, and it was purchased in 2019. Sig had a recall to correct the drop problem. I sent mine in and have never had a problem. I also started my USPCS competition with a full-size P320. Again, no issues even when accidently dropped (once in gravel). I moved on to the 226 Legion, but still shoot the 320s.

I have owned multiple P320s over the years. The one I purchased a few years ago was sent to Sig as part of their free upgrade to address drop safety concerns. I shoot IDPA and have never had an issue with the pistol.

I have changed hammers, triggers, springs, etc. on my PCR. Easy installation and the upgrades made a good pistol great. Since then I have upgraded my CZ 97and 75 compact. Any CZ I buy in the future will get similar modifications.

I think revolvers will continue to be popular. They look amazing and have a rich history. Because of their bulk and weight, I do not believe they are the best carry option. The round count is below most all 9mm pistols and revolvers are more difficult to conceal. I own a S&W 38spl, but it is range gun only.
