Using some to the logic that I have heard lately Obama and the govt should stay out of this and let the individual states handle their own crisis. You guys must make up your minds. I thinks all politicians suck, but I see too much flip flopping on what you guys want/ don't want from your govt. The govt is going to be involved or not. It's like you are at Burger King trying to pick and choose condiments. When we have a crisis in Tn I hope that we can all come thru it with a supply of stored guns, beans and bullets.

If some of you guys want me to I will come and throw a bunch of crap in your back yards for a few months. Then I will decide if I am responsible for it. If/when I admit guilt I will decide how/when I clean it up, and how much I will spend to do it. Please do not report me to the authorities, because it's nobody elses business. Don't complain about the sh&t hole that I have created in your yard. I will make things right if/when I am forced to. Exercise some patience with me, because I am the victim. I have other things to do. I want my life back. Make BP pay! It has nothing to do with their profits. It is the right thing to do.

My point is who cares if they go broke as long as they fix/clean up their mess. I don't want the taxpayer paying a penny to fix this crap. I am saying that the 20B down payment to clean the gulf and cap that well will not harm them. I am saying that I do not believe in TOO big to fail. I am saying that other oil companies will pick up the slack. I am not worried about oil prices, because the recent pass has shown that speculators will determine the price of oil/gas. I have more concern about the American public that is losing its ass in the gulf right now. I do not care what happens to a multi-national oil company that has changed American lives for perhaps decades.

20B is less than BP made in profit last quarter. They are far from going broke.

I saw CD tested on one of the gun shows on television. The rounds consistantly expanded the same no matter what material that they were shot thru. Impressive!

It's crazy how you people believe that one group is better than the other. The politicians convince you to take care of yourself (which is a good thing) while they (politicians) take care of each other. BP should pay until they bleed! If that spill had happened in Tn we would not care who stopped it. We would just want it stopped and we would want the owner of the well to make things right.

I did this bass ackwards. I read all of the post before watching that video, because I had already made up my mind that the cop had found a way to abuse his authority (I respect officers, but some cops make this very difficult). No, I am not a ex-con. My only infractions are speeding related. Back on topic. I wish that he had been bigger and stronger, because those females deserved a world class butt kicking. That officer allowed himself to be placed in a very bad situation. I think that he is lucky to be alive. I don't see how this could be political or racial. He was lucky that the mob mentality did not kick in. I saw too many times where he could have been shot or stabbed because he did not have control of his surrounding. Glad he is alright. The only thing that his dept needs to do to him is get him in a weight training class. That was not a gun that I could see at the minute fifty mark.

Hell, I had to go back home to get my birth certificate to renew my handgun permit last year. So, if he has a Tn DL he should be good to go.

I went to Dicks to pick up a air mattress for my kids camping trip and the shelves were bare. I then went across the street to wallyworld and picked up my six box limit of Federal 9mm ammo. I figured while I was out I would call my gun store across town just to inquire about their in stock defensive ammo. The clerk tells me that they have the HCD in stock so I rush over. They only had five boxes of .45 and six boxes of 9mm so you know that I had to have them all. I have been trying to get the 9mm for over a year and I had not heard of anyone even having the .45 so I am feeling really good right now. I am going to see if the CD is worthy of replacing my Remington golden sabres. If anyone has been using this ammo, please give me some feedback. Thanks. Linsk2k

Not true! Glad that you are just joking. Guess I don't hang out in the same holes as all the Memphians that knock our city. I am a little sensitive when it comes to my city. If clowns are doing this in/near Brentwood, Tennessee is in a real downward spiral. I was under the impression that Brentwood was better than that.

I don't do it anymore because I had a officer of the law get pissed and pull me over when I passed him. I mentioned this before. I chaulk it up to the guy having a bad day and he was going to take it out on someone. Regardless, I let the officers have their way and I remain polite. No need to take a ride when I can keep my mouth shut. I have heard "You can beat the charge, but you can't beat the ride too many times in Memphis".
