I like that remington alot. I have seen that on buda the last couple of months. As stated above I am going with a trijicon accupoint 3-9x40 with amber reticle for hunting and a Monarch 5-20x50 for my long range paper killing.

With what you all are saying and what I have stated that I am going to use the rifle for which DPMS would better suit my purposes the LR308B or the LR308L. Honestly I will prob shot more paper than game.

Over the last week or two I have been debating the purchase of a .308 or 6.8 rifle. I had narrowed my choices down to the Wilson Combat 6.8 recon, Stag model 7 6.8 or Remington 700 sps tactical. I now have added the R25 to the mix. I plan to use this rifle for target shooting and hunting. I will be purchasing two scopes for which ever rifle that I purchase (trijicon accupoint 3-9x40 with amber reticle for hunting and nikon monarch 5-20-50 for target shooting). Does anyone own this rifle and what are opinions of this rifle?

You can't miss what you don't have. I remember that we just kept the windows and doors open all the time. The screens kept the skeeters and flys out. When you were outdoors you got on the porch or under a tree when you were not working the crops. All was well. I would think that all Tennesseans lived like this at some point if you are over 30.

I feel for you. Getting someone to fix it is not the problem. Getting them to have time to fix it during a heat wave is the problem. Those damned a/c units always go out on the hottest days of the year and it cost me big time because my wife makes me take them to a hotel til it's fixed. Mine would go out during the heatwave on thursday, friday or the weekend and naturally AHS could not have anyone out until monday. Good luck brother.

I guess that I am the exception for the last 15 years. I have had A/C unit, garbage disposal, numerous smaller items and hot water heater replaced with no issues. The only thing that I don't like is that the service fee has gone up from $15 to $50 since I have had the service. The warranty is renewable via mail, phone or online so I always have coverage. Oh yeah, I forgot about the garage door opener that they replaced. As I said before it comes in handy when cash is low. For me that is all of the time with twins in private school.

You can get away with going concealed and violating the policy for a while. You only need to get caught once. Do like I did. Buy a sturdy safe, mount it somewhere in your car and park on the street. The car is still in view of company cameras and a thief would have to take some time and put in a little work to get my cheap pistol. Keep your job! No problem. You can figure it out while you are looking for another job. If you are not sure ask someone from personnel. Looking for loop holes is a sure way to get nuked.

I got called for Federal jury duty a few months back. It was a habitual criminal with gun and drug charges. I got questioned by the judge, prosecutor and defense. The judge had a good personality and made me feel at ease. I got dismissed when they asked about gun ownership and law enforcement background. They wanted details about the types of guns and how long I had carried. I don't think the defense wanted me because I had worked as a MP and county CO. I think the prosecutor dropped me because I came off as being TOO gun friendly. I was disappointed because it seemed like the trail was going to be very interesting.

It is unsustainable as long as the money goes into the general fund. I think that it would survive if it were done properly.

Put the Apex parts (fpb and sear) in your M&P9 and you will smile everytime you shoot it. It makes the trigger smooth as buttah.
