This is probably true. However, I’m thrilled that we have the internet, reliable satellites (remember communicating on the MARS overseas) and social media. As with everything, moderation is the key. I can also relate to parent’s concerns about younger children using social media. Just today I saw a story about bipartisan support for a bill banning the use of social media by children under 13 years of age. I’m all for it. Children and some adults can be extremely cruel. Social media unnecessarily amplifies the cruelty. For me the pros of social media are in most cases being able to witness history in real time, examination of other cultures, learning in general, it makes it harder for corrupt governments to germinate into full blown dictatorships or authoritarianism, because people are more informed, aware and information is disseminated rapidly. Also, short of getting rid of the internet, social media makes it more difficult for those who wish to ban books, delete and erase history. As we’ve seen in crackdowns all over the world, information still finds a way out. Thanks for the time you spend teaching STEM. The fact that you can say and believe that corny statement verifies my statement. Now, for those who are interested, Carson and Lemon have retained the same attorney to represent them in their suits against their former employers. I don’t know Lemon’s situation, but Tucker is rumored to be owed a ton of money on his remaining contract, and may also have a non compete clause which would probably limit him to the internet.

I’m a big believer in STEM. This video with the exception of the historically inaccurate photo of the 150yo classroom, sums up my feelings about the American educational system. We need all skills of labor for the economy to function, but we really need more STEM educated innovators if we truly want to prepare our children for the future instead of the warehouse. Smartmatic claims they don’t intend to settle with Fox, because they are an international entity and were exposed to more damage, while Dominion was domestic. I’m truly hoping to see a trial this time around. Carson will be fine. It’s already trending that he’s a victim of woke media and deep state overseers. It will play well with his fans regardless of the thousands of hours of video of him doing everything Fox claimed they could no longer tolerate. I believe Smartmatic will settle for the $2.6 billion if Fox offers it. I watched a documentary about Murdoch and Fox, and he’s never been this uncomfortable and exposed in the other suits the company faced. When all is said and done Fox could be destroyed. Their viewers only want a certain type of fear and adrenaline inducing news.

I don’t let stuff like that stress me out or keep me from things I enjoy. I’ll still record the Cup Series every Sunday. Desert racing is very exciting. I also enjoy Super Bike and the new Super Motocross brand. They have some very exciting youngsters coming up in 250, and the 450 class is a battle every week. They may eventually equal the rivalry between James Stewart, Ricky Carmichael and Chad Reed.

I’ve never played D&D. It’s seems interesting. My game of choice is Civilization, particularly Civ4. I also own Civ5 & Civ6, but I keep going back to the easier Civ4.

I record every Sunday. I haven’t watched today’s race, because I’m binge watching “My Fighting Season” on Nat Geo on demand. I’m currently a fan of the 5 (Larson) car. In the past I in was a fan of the 24. I guess that puts me in the Hendrick camp. I also watch to see what the 23XI team does. Reddick is clearly the better driver on that team. Bubba seems to be content racing in the middle of the pack or crashing a very good car damned near every week.
