  1. I was at the old Wal Mart in Marryville today. They had some, lots of Blazer 9mm (8.97) Blazer .40 10 or 12 boxes (12.47) and 1 box Blazer .45. They did get in 12 550 rd boxes of Remington .22 at 16.87 a box. They only had 5 boxes of them when I left.
  2. I took my dad on a grand tour the other night. Athens Wal mart,Benton Shooters supply, back up 411 and stopped at every Wal mart on the way.I was looking for bulk pack .22 LR and every Wal Mart was near out of everything.I took this pic to send to my BIL on my cell phone. It is the ammo case a Marryville Wal Mart.I did find some bricks of .22s at Dicks at 6 bucks higher than Wal Mart.
  3. I have not gotten emails to subscribed threads in a very long time. I am on Comcast.
  4. I have a couple big ones and have made lanyards for knives with some smaller ones. These things are great, bic will not work wet. These will even get a fire started with damp tender.
  5. I did search for the spelling and found it spelled both ways, took a chance.
  6. My fishing buddy just sent me this pic from the upper end. The bank under the van used to be at least 50 ft down to where the water used to be. These pics are just a very small area of this, the chopper view on the news showed just how big of a mess it is. Link to the news report with chopper footage. Heard a little while ago that TVA knew it had been leaking for the past 3 months, bet you won't hear that on the news. http://www.volunteertv.com/
  7. Don't now if this has made national news but about 1:00 am this morning a dike at the Kingston steam plant broke. It washed one house into the middle of a street and damaged about a dozen others.I took pics this morning with my camera. This is an area that I Crapie fish a lot.It is now full of dirt and sludge. The dike wall was around 100 ft high, covered the rail road tracks, and road at the other end of where I got the pics. You can really tell from the pics but it looked like a mountain had fell into the lake. One person was trapped in the house that was washed into the street but so far no reported deaths.Good thing it happened at night or there would have been a few fishermen in its path.I had just made plans with a friend of mine last night for a Crapie trip on Friday at the culberts that were completely covered by this. Pics are from the far end of the lake, could not get close enough to the area we fish.
  8. The one I had was the masterpiece. Thinking of trading my single 6 for one in SS or a Taurus SS.
  9. Is that a K22? I had a K38 once,great pistol.
  10. All I ever used in mine was Wolf.It shot it great. My Colt Defender also seems to like Wolf.
  11. The Bearcat would be the ticket but I don't think I have ever seen one in the 200s. The Single 6 is a good one that can be had for 300.00 to 350.00 for blue or around 400.00 for SS.My boy and me were out shooting mine today.
  12. I went this morning.Traded an SKS for a Ruger .22 single six.I was pleased to see that many people were willing to trade.
  13. Its the DART class I have to go to on Tuesday.
  14. God helps he who helps himself.
  15. Is that the FEMA training that is going to be in Oakridge Tuesday?
  16. It also makes it impossible to look to see what items have been selling for. I am on a couple boards that will give temp bans for deleting price from sale ads so members can go back and look to see the prices.
  17. Don't worry about it. Obama has everyone so scared that it is hard to tell what anything is really worth right now. I agree that 125.00 per 500 is about right but most are marking it way up. I see 500 rds for sell right now at the right price,if I had the extra cash I would grab it. I called Cabelas about the 7.62x39 for 119.95 per 500,the lady on the phone said they had on idea when they would get more and the price would most likely be much higher. From what I have been seeing on the net, shows and dealers if you want any ammo of this type and find it for around 200.00 or under you better get it.
  18. Last time I had the law pulled up there was a statement at the bottom that said a Butterfly knife shall not be considered a switchblade. Must have been a court case or something that caused them to add that. As far as the school, with the intent to go armed.I was not carrying them as weapons.I never carry a knife thinking of it as a weapon.
  19. Hope you didn't think my offer was either of the things you said. I just know that what I offered was about the same price as yours at this past weekends gunshow. I didn't notice any no offers, that is one of the problems with the way it works.I only read the body of the ad. If it was my offer that offended you I am sorry,I am used to these internet trade forums being trade forums, offer and counter offer to see if a deal can be worked out.I hope these forums never turn into a internet Wal Mart.
  20. Not sure about schools,I know a student can't. When I worked for Pepsi I had to go to many schools but I always told them when I checked in at the office that I had a pocket knife and leatherman tool on me.It was never a problem.
  21. Seems like I remember something about Hawkbills too. A Balisong is also not considered a switchblade.
  22. Background looks like gray stone, the box around this reply to thread is gray with a slight blue tint, the message box with the smilies and the tool buttons in it is a light blue.
  23. The USN forum tried the USNCOM and it failed badly. No one was renewing memberships after the first year.I think that is why they went back to the thread forum.
  24. I feel the exact same way you do. There are a couple things I would have liked to traded on but I did not post them because of the way the system works. I would post many more items if it was back to a thread lay out.
