  1. Love my Kahr P380. <-- <-- http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handguns/37099-itty-bitty-new-toy.html Was a bumpy experience at first, but great customer service and a now super dependable, super concealable BUG.

  4. Forwarded a copy of the blog link to Rep Hank Fincher here in Cookeville. I asked him if he had any knowledge of this, and if there was any truth to the claims. Here is his response- Henry Fincher to me show details Sep 26 (4 days ago) Dear Adam, This is the first I have heard of this. Let me send an inquiry to the Department of Safety and ask them to look into it. Since the matter appears to be in court, and in the judicial branch, it is not something that I have much influence over as a legislator. The story, as told, is concerning. Sincerely yours, Rep. 5. Ok. The unit is being moved back toward the outside unit. I will not have to unhook any refridgerant lines or even the electric, as I am moving them toward where they run. As far as the dual six's, I will be replacing them with 2 - 8" flexibles to do the job of 1 - 12". After checking CFM rating on sizes I see this will be similar. Any other feedback is appreciated.
  6. We just built our house at the end of last year and the time has come for me to finish the basement. I've already put up a couple of walls, installed some lektric, and hung some drywall. My issue... When the furnace was installed they put it out right in the middle of the basement floor killing the use of floor space. I intend on moving it back a couple of feet into a pantry. It currently uses a 12" flex hose for cold air return. feeding into the bottom of the unit and a 12" hose from the top of the unit feeding the ductwork (directly in the bottom of metal duct) I wonder if i can replace each of the 12" with 2 - 6" pipes 1.(allowing the cold air return to be routed in 2 - 6" pipes between the floor joists and the metal ductwork(above the ductwork), and down to the bottom of the unit, as opposed to the 12" which has to run below the duct) 2.(allowing the feed to the ducts to be routed in 2 - 6" pipes and pumped into the side of the metal ductwork vs. into the bottom as is now) any ideas??
  7. Read it and weep, guys. Oh yeah.
  8. We all just joined in. #'s 582-585! Moving right along!
  9. $50 here as well. And for what its worth TN is Handgun Carry, either open or concealed. Oh and Welcome to TGO!
  10. If your willing to drop the dough, an automatic LPG or NG generator is the way to go. No refueling and no starting up by hand. You can get 8kW for around 2,200. Double cost - but double power and lot less to mess with than diesel or gasoline. Power goes out this baby fires up on its own. Should virtually run a whole home with the exception of CHA.
  11. This is another thats hilarious
  12. You speak'm ne english? You understand the words coming out of my mouth?
  13. Really love the idea of LE. Just applied and probably have a fairly good chance of getting on @ my S.O. Anyone familiar with the basic traning requirements for Sheriffs Reserve? I know it will vary but in general what can I expect?
  14. My P380 Kahr is a SUPER little BUG, or a lone pocket gun for all those situations where I'm "not carrying";) at all. Comes w/ two mags (only slightly larger than a BIC lighter). Load 'em up w/13 rounds of Golden Sabres... Sweet little booger. (and people - never mind the moons:D)

    Kahr

I have a P380 I carry as a BUG, or in those situations where I'm "not carrying":D I LOVE IT! When I first bought it I couldn't force feed it and make it chamber a single round. It was obvious by the perfect finish on the barrel and slide that it hadn't been test fired. After a email tongue lashing they paid return shipping and fixed the problem and returned the weapon to me within 1 week. Excellent customer service, and no more problems with it.
  16. No one had a problem with bashin Serpas a while back. No threads deleted, no hands slapped and no mouth washings with soap. Those WERE bashing a LEO, and he didn't unload a weapon off duty at a bar kill someone and then refuse to take an alcohol test. ITS NEWS. One guy- One story- he just happens to be a LEO. Not all LEO's, just one. Truck driver shoots 3...... Oh No! Can't post this news story b/c we're bashing all people in transport business! Mods- Please delete all evidence of news articles where a trucker does something negative! Vacation time for me???
  17. Wow. LEO bashing is one thing, and I in NO WAY agree with it, but censoring a completely legit piece of news, - Thats just disappointing.
  18. SWEET!
  19. This is a Tagua for my M&P .357SIG. Fit my XDm like a glove, was fast, cheap and pretty good quality.
  20. Agreed. IMO a legal posting. and/or is just that.... and/or.
  21. 271,000 PERMITS. What people don't consider is... 2 permits in my household, BUT 4 people + my in-laws who are with us much of the time = 6 people they will not recieve $$$ from. Last year when we had resturaunt carry for a bit, we had a place I LOVED that posted. During this time I made sure to got to Red Lobster, Applebees, etc. (places that did not post) combined our bills onto one reciept (always $75-100.) and made it a point to drop off the reciept to the mgr at the posted place. I urged other HCP holder I know to do the same. I don't know what effect it had BUT after a couple of weeks the sign came down. Go figure.
