This, and... That... I was previously with State Farm, moved to Progressive some years back, and Farm Bureau b@$#ch slapped the crap outta both the others in all aspects for me. They beat prices and customer service isn't even in the same league. They're great.

Cracker Barrel - No Open Carry
VolunteerGuns replied to Oh Shoot's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Bad as i hate to say it, cover 'em up boys. It seems to be the fix to this problem. Or gripe til you start seeing gunbusters.(at least in TN) Just my two. Let the attacks commence. -
I keep it in my holster most of the time, but if I ever need to signal a search plane who'll be laughing?

After years of the trusty old XDsc/XDm in .40 I finally manned up and ordered my new dark earth XD compact chambered in... Wait, wait, wait for it... BAM! .45 ACP. I absolutely LOVE this gun. Already polished the barrel and guiderod. Super sweet shooter and conceals practically as easily as my sc. It fits right in my high noon iwb I use with my sc as well. I figure if 13 rounds of .45 golden sabres can't do it then it needs not be done. But I always have the extra 10 rounds in the shorty mag on me as well.

Lets talk about this overclocking a processor. How much trouble are we talking? I've modded a moto sliver a few years back, but nothing on these new phones. Still risk bricking? I'd love to turbocharge my droid x if its not too much trouble.

This. I have never been to a dollar general that was posted. I try to stay away as much a possible but end up stopping for something every now and then.

Never had any issues with USPS. Way more problems with UPS. A while back I ordered a hard drive from amazon. They shipped UPS. There was a little snow on my drive and I watched the UPS slow down never completely stop and then continue on. Couple hours later I get an email saying delivery exception package damaged in transit. I tried calling UPS but they only give detailed info to the shipper. After splainin the problem to amazon they called UPS and were told it was already on its way back to there distribution center. Amazon then overnighted another. Next day same story. Truck pulls to end of drive slows down then drives away. I call UP and get told exception-unable to deliver-inclement weather. This time I am able to arrange pick up at UPS. I get there, sign and collect my box. When I get home I open it and find two boxes, one with the overnight label and the one thatwas damaged and returned to amazon. Both in perfect condition.

Anyone watch Personal Defense TV? I've been out of pocket for a while n tivo'd a few episodes. I just got around to watching. It seems the older guy Tom has been replaced by the self defense dude. I like the new format better. Is it permanent?

This seems to be a case where speaking to the owners can't really hurt anything as they are already properly prohibiting All carry. I agree with RoadKill. Sounds like they may not have a problem with cc and if that is the case they might remove the gun buster and leave the wording. It could even be an option to remove the circle slash but leave the gun and wording both for increased visibility. In the end it cant hurt to talk with them. just my two cents

This. Looks great.

Congratulations! You have only 8 months left to sleep all night long. SLEEP SLEEP. I have a 10 yo and a 10 mo old. You tend to forget about the lack of sleep when there's some time between kids. We're just now getting back to normal. Good luck.

I love the comment from the lady with the retail buisness nearby. "I will be getting me a gun." That's using common sense which seems to be lacking in most people in this day. -
This! And... Welcome back.

Had droid x a couple of weeks now n still finding all sorts of amazing functions. Still looking for a chance to get out and give the shot timer I downloaded a try.

I just got my XD 45 compact 2 weeks ago. Until then my primary daily carry had been my XD 40sc. I love the new compact. It seems to carry exactly as the sub compact. I am even able to use the same high noon Iwb holster. Congrats on the new purchase. On another note have you noticed any rattling of your mags when full? Mine seem to make a lot of noise when I walk! Oh and if you can't get it done with 10 rounds of 45 it doesn't need to be done.

Mine is all in all a great little gun. Had some feed issues new out of the box but Kahr had EXCELLENT customer svc and cleared up that problem FAST. It feeds my Golden Sabres everytime, and is right on the mark. Easy to handle and excellent to conceal. Would buy it all over again. Oh and the wife loves it too!

Not looking too good for Doug Jackson tonight...

Fincher (D) lost big in our district last night. He was as pro 2A as the come, and instrumental in castle doctrine, long gun in cars, rest carry etc. He was replaced by Ryan Williams ® who helped to POST our city parks as a councilman! SUCKS IMO, but we were able to hold onto anti gun, pro illegal alien douchenozzle Sen Charlotte Burks (D)! WHOO HOO!
