The area around the arena has some rough looking characters out front. I'm taking the wife and kids to Disney on Ice this Sat. Mickey doesn't scare me but I hear Goofy has had a crack habit in the past. I'd love to carry at least the BodyGuard. Any updates to this thread? Thanks im advance.

"Backside" strap safety, Ha ha My pittiful attempt at humor, I see. As far a the backstrap safety, it does offer a bit more peace of mind when holstering the weapon IWB. Its not at all awkward putting my .45c back into my HighNoon w/out depressing it.

Not likely as the XD line comes from the factory with a backside strap safety.

Some may say I'm a bit anal, but situations like this are why I LOVE my backstrap safety. A little extra help in the precaution dept. never hurts. Oh.. My deepest condolences to your truck, but thankfully it wasn't your foot, leg or worse.

Must've been a friggin' glock. But please do tell...

Would you trade your favorite polymer pistols....

I agree completely. People say what they want, but my XD has double the capacity with less carry weight. I get such a kick out of watching so many people at the range, with their premium 1911's clearing jams, ftfs, ftes, etc. all the while I my 1/4 to 1/2 priced XD eats EVERYTHING I feed it without a single hiccup. EVERYTIME. -
Looking for a new inexpensive pocket carry. Also would like something the wife may like (integrated laser, cuteness, etc.) Any opinions/experiences with the S&W Bodyguard .380 greatly appreciated.

Man. I thought it was only mine, and then only with +P. -
We'll be there in October. Taking the family to Disney. Have the guest bedroom ready, cause you're about to save me some serious cash. Congrats on the job, and good luck.

Two ruptured discs. L4 & L5. Tried the no surgery route, and went to a chiropractor. Used the traction table, tens, and adjustments. After undesirable results, chiro sent me for MRI and after review of the film, he asked if I wanted my surgery locally or in Nashville. I agreed to see the neurosurgeon in Cookeville, but had already made up my mind, absolutely no surgery. The neuro checked my MRI and told me he had an opening in a week. I told him I wanted to wait and see what happened, and went home with a bottle of hydracodone. Two days later I was unable to sit on the toilet, stand up straight or sleep at all. Doc called in some oxys which offered no relief either. The next day I could not walk or even stand I was driven to the hospital and had the doctor not offered, I would have begged for the surgery. I was admitted and put on a morphine pump. Ahhh. I had the surgery the next morning and walked out later that day. Amazing. Oh, this was just in March.

Nice. I had one on order, but they called and said it was back ordered. I couldn't stand to wait to own my 1st .45 and ended up buying Another XD. Seeing yours makes me once again feel they stinging bite of the "gun bug". Great price on a nice piece as well -

I carry a 4" XD .45 in a High Noon IWB. Works good for me.

Used to carry XDsc .40 Iwb, with Kahr P380 in my pocket as a BUG. Now I just carry my XD.45c loaded up w/14rds and a spare mag of 10. If I can't take care of it with 24 rounds of Golden Sabres, it probably dosen't need to be delt with. I have came to the realization that I am more prepared to deal with a life or death situation than 99% of those around me. If Murphy calls after all my efforts, then it must be my time to go.

Looks like Photoshop. Cool sight. I have loads of squirels but mine are all the standard models.

You must be mistaken. I got an email yesterday that said all 7-Elevens are closed for the next few days due to a death in the family.
