  4. we agree. they are easy to shoot and maintain, but will stove pipe easy with a new shooter. the wife could not shoot one or my youngest for about a year. the xd would never stove pipe. but she hates it. just be sure to keep your finger out of the trigger guard. have fun.

  10. a sound track was added
  11. Got to shoot a Remington ACR it looks just like the SCAR. it would take some time to get use to, and does have a different feel to it. but you would be the only kid on the block with one, so that to me is a +.
  12. Yes it was! Wanda was a non competitor and as you see still got to have fun! hopefully the audio will be fixed soon it makes a world of difference. +1000

    Glock Bulge?

holy glock! Batman! i think it is great!
  15. both of our do not seem to like the large hollow points at top of the mag so we just changed brands with a smaller hollow point and no problems. we have ever had either one have a throw a spent case at our head. great guns!
  16. the speedloader would put you into open division,
  17. Muttling, i would like to add that the ft. benning 3 gun championship is in less than 2 weeks you may want to think about driving there and checking it out. you can see first hand what people are using including the soldiers and some of the biggest name in the game. there will side matches also that you could most likely play.
  18. "to me" they have the most problems. i had a new 1100 competition master that was a aweful, lots of problems. also i myself have seen many fail at matches. i am sure they are much better with heavy hunting loads. traded it for a used super X2 limited also factory set up for the game that was much better but not 100%. the FN copy seems to have got right. but i now use a M2 that i should have bought in the first place! i am not a shotgun guy maybe that is why i could not make my 1100 run but i seen many others with 1100 and 11-87 that had lots of problems. and for what it is worth i see less of them each year at the bigger matches.
  19. most 3 gun matches are "out law" matches and have there own rules. only at a USPSA match will you get into power factor scoring for pistol. 5.56 does not (in most cases) shoot against 7.62 (308). limited, tact or tact opics use 5.56. 7.62x39 or = 308 etc will normally shoot in a heavy metal type division. i do recomend a good semi shotgun (unless a heavy matel shooter) stay away for the remington semi's and a shotgun that is ported (rules). i know you said local but all mutli gun matches are a little different so do not be afraid to drive 4 hours for something different and fun.
  20. nice video's
  21. i drop the hammer i do not like the idea of leaving my guns in storage with the extra tension on the hammer spring, just me.

    encore pistol

i have shot it in 223, every accurate, but a small error in firing would make a big flier on the target.
  23. if you are talking about steel sihouette NRA style match a red dot would be tough. the close chickens a very small and you need to still hit out 100 yards.
  24. wanda will be there both days i hope to make sunday after work.
