    My Kahr=crap

That's a good way to look at it. It should be 100% the next time I fire it.

    My Kahr=crap

I called Kahr. They said, without looking at the gun, that their goal was to put new parts in to replace the defective parts and to not have to send out a new pistol. He said it was very rare that they shipped out a new pistol. They do make sure that the pistol is functioning at 100% before they send it out. It may work out okay.

I think they should have too, especially since I bought it 2 days ago. But I don't blame them. Kahr probably will try to repair the gun instead of replacing it. They would be stuck loosing money on a deal that isn't their fault. At least I am getting free shipping and it should be covered under warranty. If not that is when I will raise hell.

The gun shop is going to take care of all that. They said that Kahr will pay for shipping, but that adds about 4-5 days on the turn around time. So I'll probably have a Kahr for sale in a few weeks, along with the new holster I just purchased.

I hope they do. I'm pretty pissed about it.

    Ruger SR9

I've heard they would be a great gun if they had a better trigger. Very accurate at long distances.

    My Kahr=crap

I just bought a new CW40. I was putting the recommended 200 rounds through it and it started malfunctioning around number 150. It was not loading the next round. It would not chamber the first round when I put the magazine in. The slide stop got bent during the firing and now the slide is just locked and won't move. The slide started to shave polymer off the front right slide rail too. It's on its way back to Kahr now. Think they will replace it with a new one or at least a factory refurbished one? It's a shame because half way through the shooting I liked the gun as well as my Glocks. That's the last Kahr I will ever buy!
  8. I was at Mike's gun shop in Tazewell again today. He had some Hornaday .45, and a couple others. I was looking for .40 but he only had Gold Dot.
  9. The +P .40 is at buffalobore.com. I think I found the link through a gunblast review. I think I have seen one or two boxes on a shelf at a gun store too.
  10. I just got a Kahr CW40 that I am going to start carrying. What ammo should I go with? I looked at some Speer Gold Dots today. Can I go with a +P in this gun? I read that a +P isn't recommended for a glock 23.
  11. I'd go with the +P. Buffalobore.com has some great ammo too. I've shot their 357 sig, and 38 special +P. What ever you get you should fire a couple just to get the feel of the gun.
  12. Thanks OS. They've got some nice holsters on that website. I really like the IWB with metal clip. My previous holster experience has been with larger companies like Galco, Desantis, etc.
  13. That looks a little bulky. How does it feel?
  14. Just got a new CW40. What is a good holster for concealed carry? There are several IWB options out there. I got a Don Hume IWB for my glock 32 and don't care too much for it. So what are some options?
