Wow. I’m kind of wishing I had not done a trust.

Well, so much for “quick turnaround”. I’m 5-weeks since the second submission and 13.5-weeks since the first submission.

Totin' Teachers Bill Heads for a Vote
Snaveba replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I did it say they were against it. My point was the teachers I know don’t want to carry and want to co cern themselves with teaching. They don’t want to be thinking about being armed. Some may be for it, some may be opposed to it. Just because a teacher is opposed to the bill doesn’t make them anti-2A. It just means they don’t feel that arming teachers is the solution. I know that there are teachers that want to carry. Most, if not all, of us carry on a regular basis. We do it because it is our right. We do it to be able to defend ourselves or our loved ones. But we don’t necessarily walk out of the house every day thinking “will today be the day I have to defend the children in my care” and “please Lord, let my aim be true and let my will be strong”. That’s a big difference, and something an armed teacher will likely do. It’s one more thing a teacher has to think/worry about that is not education of their children. LEOs likely leave the house with that thought. Former LEOs might as well. -

I’m not saying that. I’m just saying that the teachers I know don’t want to carry in the classroom. -

My educated guess from the photos is 1971. It looks like the is a 71 before the serial number in one photo. -

I’m trying to win a model 1873 at auction tomorrow, if it goes to high, this will sure be tempting. -

I can tell you that none of the teachers I know want to carry in the school, much less the classroom. While they all would sacrifice themselves for their children, carrying in the classroom is not and should not be their responsibility. And if they do carry, will the school district cover their legal fees if they did have to use their weapon? -

Man, this is on the list, as is a Saddle Ring Carbine in 38-55, and an 1873 in 32-40 or 44-40. -

Price? And what is the significance of the number engraved on the lever? Looks too long to be a SSN -
