  1. That is an interesting article as I was under the impression it was no big deal if your weapon was inadvertently exposed. I was a member of Florida Carry as well. After 22 years of carrying in Florida I did not worry if my weapon printed or not. No one ever pointed out I was printing or if my weapon accidentally was exposed. I guess it depends on where in Florida you live. I don't open carry here in TN but I don't carry IWB anymore either. After being here over two years I have seen maybe five people openly carrying their weapon. I do like the idea I can open carry but I am too old to fight if some punk tries to take my weapon. Plus I like the idea of surprise being on my side.
  2. Yep, in Florida all carry is concealed carry and I found myself in a couple of places where weapons were not allowed. I had something else on my mind and just walked right in. When I finally realized I was carrying I just stayed in line. As noted above, concealed means concealed.
  3. Thanks for replying. I moved here from Florida and their carry laws are much easier to understand.
  4. I guess I am just slow but what is the definition of "intent to go armed"? I can't wrap my head around that. If I holster my pistol I intending on leaving the house armed. I do have an Enhanced Carry Permit and I do carry but in my opinion TN has some really confusing laws.
  5. I would definitely take one when you if and when you make it back to Nashville. Just let me know if possible.
  6. Life member of SAF but still donate $150.00 a year. Paid for this year on Jan 1, 2021. Renewed TFA on Feb 1, 2021. Renewed family plus a $50.00 donation. On Mar 1, 2021 I will be renewing GOA for myself and my wife.
  7. Thanks for the help. I have gmail so if I start having a problem I will switch.
  8. Where in the settings is the function to receive an email that someone has sent me a PM. I am guessing there is such a function but I am not smart enough to figure it out. Thanx
  9. Actually you are correct. The doctor was an optometrist who saw my wife after she had a stroke. I asked her to tell them she wouldn't be back for a follow up due to the sign. Unfortunately she just decided she would not go back. The fact is she doesn't need to go back in a year.
  10. If I have to go back I will just carry IWB. I carried over twenty years in Florida (no open carry) with out issue. Actually went a couple places I wasn't suppose to be (accidentally) and no problems. Thanx
  11. Thank you Dave. I must admit I find that a bit confusing. Regardless, I believe I can carry inside the law as the sign is not the correct sign. Correct me if I am wrong. I carry OWB with a t-shirt handing over the pistol. More than likely the pistol would go unnoticed anyway. If it was noticed and I was asked to leave I would leave. Six months ago there were no signs at this doctor's office.
  12. I have been looking online and the only sign I could find was a new sign that was introduced in 2016.
  13. I came across this sign today. To my understanding this sight doesn't meet the regulation (no force of law). Am I correct? Thanx
