  1. This has the MCARBO flat trigger and springs. Around $50 in parts and $100 install from MCARBO. Someone needs a lightweight EDC. This will work in a pocket. The clip allows it to be clipped to the pocket and covered by a tee shirt.

  2.

stainless steel Para Ordnance 14.45 with 4 mags. Some finish wear as shown. Will include Alien Gear IWB holster. Very good pistol that I have shot quite a bit. Cycles excellent with 230g FMJ and Federal Hydra-Shok. I bought this used so no clue of round count. $650.

Hmm...no love for the Kimber Micro9? Snappy in a mini-micro 1911 kind of way. I put a Hogue grip on her to absorb some of that snap and give better purchase. Fits a pocket just fine--

Bought one a few weeks back. Working just fine. I have to get caught up and make a couple of holsters for it. New territory making a pocket holster but if I don't like mine DeSantis makes a great one, have it for my P32.

  5. Very nice work. Yup, wife is a good critic. Hard to get a compliment out of mine.
I print off images from the net and size them appropriately. Sometimes have to print several times to get sized right. then use tracing film to transfer to the leather. Makes carving easier since I can't draw a straight line with a ruler. working on a sheath now, putting off the artwork that is going on the frog. Dreading trying to transfer nose art from a B52 to a spot about 1.5 x 2 inches.

I wonder if that would include people convicted of selling drugs, or of committing fraud, or perhaps of gun trafficking? I think a lot of clarification is going to be required.

Haven't read the judgement so I have to take the article at face value. Especially since the Government take defrauding the Government pretty seriously.

And I have always believed that anyone who can legally walk the streets should be able to arm themselves. trouble is, they let a lot of folks walk our streets that shouldn't be breathing our air.

Tell me, does a person who has completed their sentence have less value?

I live alone in a rural area.  Last time I called 911 (for a heart attack), it was 45 minutes before they got here.  The drive to the hospital at posted speeds is less than 25 minutes. FSD would have been a lot quicker than calling for an ambulance.

I'm not quite sure why you would want to avoid auto-braking.  Do you mind explaining that one?

I stop in traffic with enough room to escape and try to avoid being in center lanes at traffic lights. I may want to hit what is in front of me in certain circumstances. I also do not want lane keep assistance. It's all old school driving technique and situational awareness, escape and evade. I will scew up ABS in a panic stop EVERY time and I've had ABS for years. Driving with assistance dulls the senses and allows one to lose focus. Not a bad thing for some but it's not for me.

Agreed.  I didn't know that info.

I don't drive that many miles anymore.  Yet for me, the FSD (full self-driving) is more of an appeal than the EV portion.  I've even investigated OpenPilot... an open source advanced driver assistance system.  Of course my vehicle is 1 year too old (2020 model) to use it:

We dropped down a level when we bought our Buick. One of the reasons was to avoid auto braking. It wasn't the determining factor but it did play into the decision. Not trying to be demeaning, self driving is a no-go for me. I have issues with Blind Spot Warning, makes me lazy or whatever. Works well but I learned to drive in a neck brace, mirrors are my friend. LOL!

The upcoming Tesla "model 2" (not an official Tesla name) is supposed to have a starting price of $25,000.  That would make it more feasible.

Not while I only go to the office twice per week. I drive the "second car", in this case an old truck. and I'm 62 so I'd retire before I got my return on investment.
