  1. They say it will be made again in 09 only in standard (non)+p loads, and only this round. Should be good for older/airweight snubs and for people bothered by recoil. Have not seen any yet or price.
  2. A fellow board member asked me to post this. Under original owner Charles Hafner JR. Forty a year. He lives next to range and if he is not there go to his house. Somebody here may know other way to join.

    S&W 6904 help

Great gun if you like da only, had one for years. The gun is quite a bit longer than 6906 and requires special holster if it is fitted holster.
  5. As I was informed Renew by mail they keep Birth Cert. Bring it in it is handed back to you. I think mine ran 10 dollars mailed and DMV is down my street.

  11. You may want to find out if it is corrosive,it could eat up your bbl if it is not chrome lined.
  12. Perfect, this is the only gun you will need for the rest of your life and now you can use your gun fund for other things. As with any glock buy a good brand holster.
  13. No one would take the blame. I am almost sure it was overcharged ammo. This was 10 years ago,had new 686 fired a few rounds through it an fourth recoiled like a 44 Mag load and I felt burning on my hand and wrist. Most was chunks of the cylinder but did not go into skin. CCI had me send them alum. case which was split all the way down to base. They called and said send to S&W and they would pay for repairs. Sent gun to S&W and they sent me out a new gun free. CCI sent me some ammo. Bad steel in cylinder? Bad ammo?
  14. It blew up a cylinder in a new S&W 686 with their .357 125 grain Mags. CCI paid for it and sent me two boxes of ammo. Other than that I have used it in 25/38/9 with no problem.
  15. Hope they do not mess up an already perfect gun.
  16. Had it in November BAD and getting worse . Ran into an old buddy at the Cool Springs Marriott Military Show and was wiped out and leaving. He said he had it the week before and his old country doctor had him take asprin and it went away. Something in it kills the flu,and I am thinking (sure) picked up a bottle and took one dose. Got up next morning and it was all but gone and felt great??
  17. I joined New Years Day,few others also. Stopped at his house. You could mail it and use Money Order for receipt untill he mails your button.

He has bought out quite a few promoters lately and has grown to fast. As with most family buisnesses the family are mostly flakes, but you have to hire them first.

  23. Few years back the company I was with always said they would close if it went union. With not much to lose we brought in UAW for vote after they told us if anything went wrong we would have union jobs the next day. Company closed for one week and hired all new people. and UAW would not take any of our calls. last dealings with unions. The NLRB dropped any action for us.
