  1. You may want to talk to Brian. He lives in your town, and should be able to hook you up. http://southernshotandsteel.com/
  2. lol @ best redneck movie of all time. I play with guns for a living.
  3. Being the area's ASP Distributor and Training Facility, we are happy to conduct certification for military, civilians, corrections, and LE. If someone (*paging Eddie) wants to start a feeler thread with poll, we can nail down a few possible training dates. Disclaimer; Our training and subsequent certification of TGO members in no way suggests that we advocate or recommend the carry or use of an expandable baton in place of a firearm, common sense, and good situational awareness. No warranties expressed or implied.

It was great having you in the store again John. Glad we could FINALLY find something you liked * You should send that quote to Sig and see if they want to use it in their next ad campaign.
  5. 1. Chill dude. I was just busting your balls. 2. Its your OPINION that you are open minded.
  6. Not everyone can be as open minded as you Rabbi (/end sarcasm) While I agree that this method can/has worked effectively by some of the most battle hardened soldiers on the planet, I think its ironic you are ragging on people for being close minded and not embracing a technique that is contrary to what they know and understand. When you lecture someone on the need to be open minded and progressive in their thinking, make sure you are standing in front of a mirror
  7. FYI: Hero-Gear is a ASP Baton distributor and training center which can assist you in getting certified. If there is enough interest, we can conduct a TGO only class.
  8. Here is my wifes pink P32 (we ended up selling it to a guy "that HAD TO HAVE IT" for his wife)
  9. I would prefer a once a week pilgrimage, but if some of you guys can only make it once a year, I guess that will have to do
  10. You are too kind Brent. It was great meeting you today, and I want to thank you for allowing me to earn your business. Next time you come, you need to bring that 458 SOCOM and we will find some time to hit the range!
  11. Yeah, he's going to **** himself when he finds out the trade difference is less than 200 bones
  12. I agree. Knowing your market, your customer, and how you fit in is most important. Find an under-served segment in the industry, and commit to it. Very good suggestions. (except Rabbi may want to cut those numbers a bit) All guns fit that "I want a good gun, but dont want to spend a bunch of money" crowd. Have some super high zoot rifles on display, and then offer guns that look and function at 80% of that at 30% the price. I have guys that come in and fondle our Tikka T3 Tacticals, FN SPRs, Remington PSS, etc but are on a Savage budget. We sell really nice Savage packages for around 500 bucks that make many "wannabe sniper" customers very happy.
  13. It looks like the OP is from Tullahoma. If so, I would like to recommend Brian Rutledge http://www.southernshotandsteel.com/ as a quality trainer that much closer to your home.
  14. S&W doesnt have an official Active Military discount, but Hero-Gear will eat the difference and honor the LEO price to Active Military Servicemembers. (this includes ACTIVE/Drilling guard and reservists)
  15. Monopolize? no, hardly. We live in a free market economy. We hope to EARN your business through Selection, Price, and Service. Hero-Gear is the Law Enforcement Distributor for the entire State of Tennessee. What that means is; there is no one (nope, none of those guys you listed above...or any other dealer in the state) gets a better deal on S&W. We use this buying advantage several ways: Our everyday low price for M&P pistols is 489.00 The TGO price is a few bucks less at 485.00 If you are a Law Enforcement Officer I can offer an even better price which saves the LEO another 50 bucks. (I need a copy of your commission card for my records) Finally, if you are a city/county/state/federal agency operating in TN, I am able to knock off another 100+ per unit if requested using a dept. Purchase Order. Make sense? Don, you (and the other fine members of TGO) have many outstanding choices when shopping for a firearm. Spend your money with Rabbi, spend your money with any of the other fine shops you listed, or spend it with me. Your choice. I hope you visit Hero-Gear at some point, and give me the opportunity to EARN your business.
  16. Don't be such a gun snob. That is an older 5" PM7 that doesn't even use the LICENSED EB Bobtail.
  17. I added your targets to my order. I will let one of you guys know when they come in.
  18. Who are you dealing with at Mako? Ronnie G? We buy at their distributor level, so you may want to throw your order on top of ours. (we are dropping a large one this week) At any rate, we will save you the shipping
  19. I received my first lever gun last week: (actual photos to follow) Marlin 308 Marlin XLR http://www.marlinfirearms.com/Firearms/308MarlinExpress/default.aspx Guns and Ammo review: http://www.gunsandammomag.com/ammunition/marline_122106/
